Newsflash: Apparently I'm Not Graduating.

I've actually been worried I was in the same situation for the past few weeks. Luckily, it appears I'm going to make it (barely). Senioritis is a bitch, eh?!

All you need to do is show that you care. Go in there, ask for extra credit, talk to the principal, do whatever it takes. Try to strike a deal like "If I get at least a C or a B on the final exam, just give me a D in teh class so I can graduate". Tell them you know the material but just have slacked off in your promptness of assignments or such

If worse comes to worse, at least you will be able to take summer school. Sucks, but better than redoing your senior year.

You sir, are an ignoramous.

To Kill a Mocking Bird is the best piece of literature I have ever been fortunate enough to read.

Hmm... Opinions opinions opinions... I didn't find it very interesting at all and could not get into it. Maybe that's because I have a very short attention span, (Can be compared to a squirrel... A.D.F.D. Attention Deficit f*cking Disorder) or maybe it's because it just didn't spark my interest. I don't know, but apparently either one of those, or possibly another was enough for me to decide to risk my grade in the class. Maybe one who calls out "ignoramous" should at least know how to SPELL ignoramus.

Thank you, and just don't reply, I don't need your f*cking input.

I don't think socially unstable people like you belong on a forum, then. To Kill A Mocking Bird is grade A literature no matter what your opinion is. It's quite obviously you simply don't understand what makes good writing, supported by the fact that you were forced to read it in school. Even if your opinion mattered, perhaps you should give a disclosure before you yell at someone for telling you you are ignorant because he didn't know you had some sort of disorder.

Unless you feel like including that notice in every one of your posts, I suggest you get used to people reacting to someone throwing out ridiculous statements.

So much for a future...

Eh, you'll be fine even if you don't graduate. Just get your GED like some people said. That's what I ended up getting and I went to college, graduated with honors, having a pretty nice future after high school. Don't trip.

You probably feel pretty bummed, but at least you can say you didn't graduate because you had a condition that caused you to miss out on classes and assignments. I didn't graduate because I was forcibly moved out of my classes, despite my almost perfect GPA, to make room for more students entering the school. Which meant I couldn't get the credits I needed to graduate. At least you didn't get them apples. But everything turned out in the end, so again, don't trip. Hopefully you'll even be able to fix your situation with the special-ed dept. If not, there's still life after not having a high school diploma.

Good luck.

Get a big bag of money, walk into school and just throw dollar bills at their faces until they agree with you.

And film it.

Sucks to hear that, Night.

I had the fear that I wouldn't graduate high school. I did, but I missed out on my IB diploma, so it it felt like a lot of effort and money got pissed down the drain, but it wasn't too bad. University was a different story. I failed right the **** out in my second semester because of increasingly severe afflictions of depression. Imagine the kick in the balls that felt like.

I know it probably doesn't doesn't feel like it, but it's not as bad as you may think it is. At the end of the day, schools want their students to graduate so they can compete in the numbers game. It's pretty common for school to have workarounds in situations like this, like summer sessions. But if you foresee issue with depression happening in the future, I'd also take this time to sort your own personal problems out. You don't want to graduate only to have them come back and bite you in the ass.

Best of luck, mang.
