Next-Gen console prices????

What do you guys think??

PS3 and Xenon I see being upward $450. Mainly becuase they're probobly going to be media machines capable of more than gaming.

I see Nintendo being a bit more friendly at $300-350. Straight gaming, period. Maybe I'm wrong...who knows.

Anyway, I see console gaming becoming a lot more expensive with the next-geners.

i'll get mine 6 months/a year down the line as it takes awhile for the decent games to come out,prices should be lower then

I cant see how console prices will be kept reasonable. The sheer amount of hardware needed could really jack up the price along with new never before manufactured CPU's and GPU's. Also hard drives, WIFI and increased RAM could make them even more expensive. I have also heard that the price of console games are going up due to increased budgets "needed" to make a great game. For the time being I will stick to my PC until prices drop, so I might see jimbo118 at the store!

I don't know the ps2 cot 600,- euro's when it came out here in holland, but this is holland. Anyway in the US, it will be 450,-, herei n holland it will ne like 2000,- or os.

well with the ps2 i noticed it dropped a 100/50 euros every xmas,it'll be about 500 euros/dollars methinks,the average punter isnt gona pay a grand for it

Yeah...

I heard all three consoles could be lookin at 512 Meg RAM. That's a boatload. Like I said, I can't see the Xenon or PS3 costing any less than $400.
