Next issue of PC Gamer Uk has got a Call of Duty 2 preview and something really big.

While the big story could infact be Call of Duty 2, it could be something else. Though I am clueless as to what it is.
 
DNF? PC gamer US had something big, some people on the these forums speculated that it might be DNF.
 
Well...let's speculate. It's something so big they can't tell us. There is a possibility it is a game that is as yet unannounced. Otherwise all they would say is: More news on so-and-so. It is obviously a sequel. No brand new game would have this much hype. It is a game that is likely to be completely revealed at E3. It is also exclusive to PCG.

I don't think we will ever guess the announcement. Unless of course it is something in the scale of Half Life 3.
 
The big scoop is Monkey World. It's like Morrowind, but with monkeys, and a mystical woman named Zoorooroo.

Although it's probably Stalker/Fear/DNF.
 
PC Powerplay that came out 1 month ago had the Call of Duty 2 preview with all the screenshots. Nice Shorts :)

Most likely. Or maybe Unreal 3.

It won't be STALKER or FEAR. Both of those have had huge articles in the last few months.
 
Or maybe, DIABLO III! I want Diablo III so badly. :(

Someone's already mentioned it somewhere, but Duke Nukem Forever immediately springs to mind... what with the comedy bomb and all.
 
Im reading my copy of Computer Gaming World and it has the CoD 2 preview, which i must say looks friggin awsome.
 
What about UT 2006? Wasn't there a recent mag with an article in it?
 
Far Cry wasn't a big enough or critically acclaimed enough game to warrant an "OMG!!! EXCLUSIVE!!!" article for it's sequel.

And I thought this big exclusive was ut2k6? :O
 
What about a steam related update, HL3 perhaps?

Duke Nukem 3d wasn't a big enough or critically acclaimed enough to warrant an "OMG!!! EXCLUSIVE!!!" sequel announcement in PC Gamer. The thing that would make it exclusive, is that it is the biggest piece of vapourware since...Bitboys desktop graphics card.
 
It won't be far cry 2 because they are focusing on the expansion right now.

I think they are also working on another game using the same/updated engine.

Hasn't that already been announced?
Pc:G US has a World Exclusive Announcment for a Pc Game that has one of the biggest franchsies behind it.
Therefor it can't really be DNF for the Pc Gamer US article.

On here maybe not. Go on a FarCry fan forum and ask if they all think HL3 would deserve a big "OMG!!! EXCLUSIVE!!!" article.

I found FarCry alot more enjoyable than HL2, speaking in SP here i found HL2 to be pretty boring and the same old same old. At least FarCry tried to be different and go a bit non-linear. Anyway, my point is, to me FarCry2 would be an "OMG!!! EXCLUSIVE!!!" ;)
 
I'm talking in terms of sales and press coverage, not reaction on a HL2 forum.

HL2 was always going to be a far bigger press event than Far Cry. Anything that id does will be of more press interest than FC2. As will anything Epic does, anything 3D Realms does, anything Blizzard does etc etc...
