FACT! when my sister was 13 years old and selling girl scout cookies here in san francisco, he was walking down the street, and my mom saw him, and told her to go ask him to buy cookies! he stopped, looked at here, puffed on his cigar, and kept walking! jerk! and, this isnt going to be that great a movie. it's one of those ones that looks good, but you know is gonna be bad.

He is a rather awkward, out-of-place, distracting actor and he seems to always have a 1-dimensional personality that seems a bit . . . . "drugged." I'll watch the movie because it looks like it will be enjoyable, but he never blends into a role. He's not a horrendous actor, he does an "ok" job, but I'd say he's rather out of place in most movies.

He doesn't annoy me as much as some actors....such as Owen Wilson

Are you serious? Owen Wilson actually has talent (See any of Wes Anderson's movies, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket), even if he does get casted in stupid movies. My experience with Nicholas Cage movies that "look enjoyable" is that they always, without exception, suck.

I loved Face-Off! Now, he doesn't have the best movies ever, true, but I still do find some of them rather enjoyable. Am I the weird one here?

Now now he was great in Adaptation. Fantastic actually.

I liked a couple movies hes been in. Lord of War, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Rock and Conair (yes, I know i just listed the ones listed in the previous two posts). However I think he ruined Codetalkers, and multiple other films.

Yes, I saw ConAir. I used to love it when I was like 13/14/15 or so. Then I watched it again recently because my wife hadn't seen it, and I realized that yes, HIS ACTING SUCKS. I loved Face/Off when I first saw it too, but I'm just going to assume that what I learned about ConAir will hold true with it as well: John Travolta will have to carry the acting since Cage's acting isn't worth its weight in crap. National Treasure was a ridiculously horrible movie, and not just because of bad acting.

Sorry if I come across as kind of an ass, but I'm really picky/snotty about my movies... and music for that matter.
