In my personal opinion I think this is a horrible move for Nintendo. A LOT of people lately have been switching from PS2 to Xbox and some even become Xbox fanboys. Specifically at lease two people that I know. One became a Halo fanatic saying that he no longer uses his PS2 and the other said that he has Star Wars Battlefront and that he saw the Xbox version and it looked much better. My point you ask? Well whether you agree or not, the general public usually flocks to the game systems with the best graphics. We all know that Nintendo not only has the weakest system (According To Nintendo) but that they now won't even support HD resolutions. Nintendo pulled a similar move by not including decent online plans with the GameCube and look how that turned out har har.
I have been a Nintendo fan all my life. I have a PS2 and Xbox and I find myself using my Xbox more then my GameCube. Not only are there more games but the graphics are much better. Playing Halo 2 or Doom 3 with widesceen mode turned on and HD turned on and surround sound it is an amazing experience. An experience that GameCube owners won't enjoy and the same goes to Revolution owners. Not only is this dumb but the fact that the Revolution won't even come out until 9 months after Sony and 12 after Microsoft spells disaster. Also rumors suggests that in 2008 the US will make it a requirement to have HDTV's in order to watch any form of tv. I don't know if thats true or not though. Feel free to disagree with me but please don't flame me and make this an intelligent conversation.
