If what you say is true, sooner or later you will start beliving those things, and when that happens, you might be in for a disappointment.

It is irrellavant if it is true or not, it is a presuposition so we act as if it was true as this gives us our best result. Why will you start beliving in it? You should act as if it is true, but it ireelavant if it is.

I get you now. You do not believe it is true but you act as if it was true. You will start studying hard, you will act as an intellectual, then you will apply to Princeton. There is a 92% chance you won't be accepted, but you will apply anyway. Then you get a reality wake up call: a letter in the mail saying you were not accepted. Then you sink in a huge depression because you were unable to achieve "the best result".

The Prepussition is If someone else can, I can.

I have more chance of getting into princeton if I apply. And I would not get crushed because I NEVER beleived I could, I just acted as if I did.

NLP in MY opinion is based on placebo effects and coincedences.. But your lucky if you can make yourself believe its not, and have it work.

I did not say you believed you could, but it is quite possible that at some point you will *believe*. So what steps are you talking to prevent you will believe?
