So basically, it's apparently not listed on VU's list of upcoming releases for 2004 (perhaps because the date is pretty much TBD?), and VU won't comment. Last time Valve mentioned the release date it was summer 2004.

Hrm. It's not exactly an official solid press release, so meh. We shall see.

It isn't the fiscal year of 2004, the german site is just reporting old news.
It reports an old releaselist from january, and HL2 is TBA on that list.

Yes, the list they talk about is that one. It's from january and it did show HL2 as TBA.
That was before the CNN article with "summer 2004".

The don't want to put the release date for 2004, and then upset their fans by delaying it even more.
