It's 7 and no Steam update, it looks like we're getting them every other day from now on. That or Valve is skipping a day because of the leaks.

Yeah it looks that way. Bandwith just went up by 300 megs on the steam network staus page. They are adding more as we speak. So who knows.

No, the past 2 releases have been up at 7PM EST, it's 7:16 now, the only reason sites have the third movie up is that we all opened up our Hex Editors and got the movie ourselves. The Steam update will give you movie 4, you already have movie 3 in your cache.

Not exactly tonight, we don't know that. Valve could be unlocking them every other day, like they were. The only reason it says it was released on the 8th was because of the Fileplanet preview and the hacks people used to unlock it.

I havent seen the third one yet. I sort of want to wait for the official releases just in case maybe hex editing the movie doesnt give you the full thing. Also i dont mind waiting. i already have the 600MB one and have seen that to death...hmm...one more time.

Maybe Valve is withholding the next movie to punish us for hacking into the cache and getting the 3rd movie before we were supposed to!

Well I dont think they would hold it off to punish us. If they are doing something then they are trying to fix it so that we cant do anything to get media before it is supposed to be released. Honestly I dont think they care. I'd rather them release every other day so that we wont have a longer wait for Half-Life 2.

If they're trying to punish us, it's their loss, because in the long run doing this is getting them purchases, but Gabe's a good guy, so I don't think they're going to punish us.

They aren't leaks... they gave them to us... Heh. If they didn't want us to see them they wouldn't have given them to us.

yea the bandwith just keeps climbing.... and i mean Valve is probably making it a type of "hacking" game if you will... see who can hack into it and get the movie first... they said they were going to make it harder but they are still going to give it to us... its like playing cat and mouse with a billion dollar company
