Too bad you aren't allowed to... she had "government permission" or something.

And then theres the cancer...

Yeah, pictures are good enough for me :p

That's what the geiger counter's for ;)

This gets me really excited to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R, the whole Chernobyl setting just seems like it's going to be really creepy and fun to explore.

Regardless of whether or not people or not agree on her motorcycle story being true, all the pictures are real.

It's sad. I can picture the day, and the day just after almost virtually deserted, but people who hadn't left the city dying alone, hiddin in buildings, lying there dying of radiation sickness.

Oh and STALKER looks much, much, much more like those pictures than HL2.
Yeah, well thats because they hired someone to go into Chernobyl and take pictures of buildings and landscapes for the dev. team. So in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. you can run around in actual buildings... kinda spooky.

I am pretty sure that it is no hoax- the girl has mentioned that she hadtaken most but not all of the pictures on her own.

actually, while this is true, it doesen't prove or disprove anything... it was obvious, since there were pictures of her in there... how the hell would she get those pictures without having someone else there? :p

cameras have something called timers and she could have easily carried along a tripod :p

She had a guide with her. Some of the objects in her photos were rearranged for effect (which annoyed the guide to no end), but that's about as 'fake' as these pictures get.

Man, thanks, really nice, this goes into my list, of places to visit after I reah my goals in life.

/Adds to list
