Not looking good?

I know some of you take silence as a good sign, but a very similar incident to this happened over at the UBi forums a few months back.

Dont know if you know, but a game called lock on, modern air combat has been in dev for like years and is shaping up to be the flight sim to end flight sims, anyway they finished a demo and said that it would be made available all going well on a certain date.

As that week came, non of the usual PR guys posted, no news at all, alot like these forums, with wild rumours flying here there and everywhere, on the day, it was announced that the demo was delayed for 2 months (for publicity releated reasons) I know its hard to imagine this being a big deal, but it was just as exciting for a LOT of sim fans.
I hope to god that it will be release on the 30th, and i secretly think it will, but im also trying to prepare myself for the *possibility* of a delay.
Thats all I wanted to say really, if you tell yourself its delayed, once you get over that then it will be fine, and if *when* it is released *on the 30th god pls tbh* it will be an uber-nice surprise.

Meh..... I wish theyd tell us something, anything, this is torture.

Some of the information you have posted here is relevant and some is not. You compare a similar scenario to what is currently happening with HL2, it maybe relevent to the community at present but as time goes by and further information is released regarding HL2 from Valve it may not be as relevant.

I was just relating how a similar situation had made ME feel before, very disappointed, and with that in mind Im kinda perparing for the worst, although im finding it hard letting go of the idea that the game will be released in a week.

I think he can be rest assured though that sales won't suffer...honestly...who on here who's been anticipating Half-Life 2 is going to not buy the game out of spite towards Valve because they botched the release date?

i am sure the game will still sell, but ppl will lose faith in valve, and if they make another game, they wont really take their word for it

Whatever the release date may be...when it finally comes out...and people get to play it...all will be forgiven...people won't even be thinking about that there was ever a delay.

Well i actually go to the 3drealms forums, and even to THEIR fans it is vaporware. There is not only no news, there hasnt been any info, media, or basically any mentioning of it for the past year and a half. The 2001 video was the last damned thing ive seen and heard about it.

You cant even mention crap like this without it being locked. Their admin Joe locks just about everything; can you say, abusive power?
