Been playing head-start (pre-order FO SHO muh fuggah) and loving it. Few niggling issues that I'd like to see ironed out, and it doesn't exactly break the MMO mold, but by and large it's quite awesome. My biggest complaint, which was echoed in Eurogamer's review (here in case it wasn't linked yet) is that it lacks a bit of the "heart" that WoW and other MMOs had. There's less of a sense of immersion and wonderment and you don't feel quite as connected to the world or lore. Of course I'm no Warhammer buff, so people who are more familiar with the license might feel differently (that, and people who actually read the quests).
In any case, it's too much fun for me to care at the moment. The number one thing I can say for it is that it's so easy to play. Everything's been streamlined and polished so that a lot of things that used to be a chore are simplified, or even just gone. There are so many ways to level that you barely feel the grind, grouping is a cinch (once people learn how to use the open grouping system... friggin noobs), and everything feels so rewarding. It's probably not as big a change as WoW was for it's time, but it's definitely a step forward.
