Ive looked around for the .NFO on various pubstros and torrent sites, nfo news sites, and NNTP, cant find it. If it is just bits of the source code and not an actual runable collection of files like the Alpha was, then it probably wont get around much as to most people it will be useless.

it may just be unreleased mnaterial from the first leak, or a re-release of the origional Alpha leak.

ill keep an eye out for the .nfo though to see just what it is.

That's the code to Source, not neccessarily the code to HL2. HL2 and Bloodlines are both built on Source, but for all we know, they may have vastly different systems built in for things like map loading and whatnot.

I too downloaded the supposed file not to play but just out of curiosity to see if it was true...it has a bunch a .rar's and a nfo. The same nfo that was posted earlier. Also the rar's unpack to a .img file. Haven't been able to burn it yet to see if it's got anything useful, but at a wopping 137mb, I'm going to say with 100% assurity that it's a fake, and that is welcome news.
