... load a mod such as garrys mod and the iother one jb something ot other. I have no idea what im doing ??!?!?!?

i have a bunch of files sitting at my face and no idea how to run the mod or where all these files go cause there is no read me ARRRGHHH

do i add a target line or what,i mean hl1 mods are super easy to play just one file which does everything for you.

I just dont get why the make these modds soooooo hard to get working can anyone give me a step-bystep for dummies guide ?

i fixed that problem but this mod does nothing to hl2 at all i can play load map and start from my other files. ?!?! i dont get what this mod does to hl2 ?

i can load a map to and well this mopd still doesnt do anythiong ?

when ii load theis mod from steam it jkjsut loads hl2.

garrysmod does have a readme (wtf.txt) and jbmod has a readme (readme.txt) :|

are you trying to install jbmod and garrysmod in the same folder or something? don't even bother with jbmod tbh it sucks compared to garrysmod.

Extract Garry's mod files into Source mods. It should appear on Steam , 'third party games'. Load it and start from the beginning of the game. You should be given a few weapons. See if you have those weapons for starters?

woot replays like no other, this mod sucks no offence but its horrible , ive been trying to load this mod for ummmm 3 1/2 days now and no such luck. i asked for step-by-step guide by nope just people say do this and it works
when i do that it doesnt work so fuk this mod.

i bought it threw steam all my games run flawless hl2, hl2DM, CS:S, just because this mod suks my balls doesnt mean it must be my HL2 thats having the troubles. I downloaded no extra mod content from anywhere, just this single mod. This mod doesnt work because of bad program. PERIOD

Did you make a back up of Half-Life 2? I'm pretty sure if you reinstall Half-Life 2 and reinstall the mods it should work.

is there supposed to be two gameinfo.txt's in the folder cause the mod came with two of them im i supposed to rename one of them ??? to what? the first one is like 34 kb and gives me and error when i put that one for the file

the other one is bigger like 340 kb but it loads the game but doesnt let me click "start game"

I didn't even read the readme, I just unzipped everything into the SourceMods-folder (*hint hint*) and started steam. Lo and behold, there was the name of the mod, right there in the Steam Games menu. Could it be any easier?
