One Chance

Pff, I survived on my second attempt, but it was pretty stupid because:

On my first playthrough on the first day I accidentally skipped work, because when that chick at work chatted me up I pressed space before I noticed "skip work" above our heads. I just thought maybe she'll say something more, not that we'll immediately end up in a bar. On my second playthrough then the only thing I changed was going to work first day as well (as I planned to anyway - working every day) and voila! cure found on the last day.

This game is just like another flash game that was posted here a while back, I forget the name though.

I successfully got everyone killed. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Yeah, I posted it. Got about 3 screens into this one, seems just like it, down to the 6 days thing. No way I can handle all that walking again...

Worked every day except the one where the guy throws himself off the roof and interrupts the work. Choosing to go to work on the last day was really, really hard. I got the cure and my ending screen is the guy sitting in the part with his daughter. I'm not sure if the daughter is alive or dead. This is a really sad game :(

Actually, I want to know what everyone did and what they got. I:
didn't skip work any time it was offered
checked the roof on the second day which ended with one of the lab guys killing himself
went to work every day and didn't go to the park with Molly (a very, very hard choice)
Results:
My wife killed herself in the bath a few days in
Got the cure, ending is me with Molly (dead or asleep? :( ) in the park

To be honest I really wasn't sure if finding a cure would be possible. I was half convinced going to work every day would just end in nothing. But I couldn't not do it. I'm sorry Molly.

I died on a park bench. Alone.

I died in the lab sitting on the floor. Alone.

What I did was this: skip work, skip work, frantically search for cure at the last minute, everyone dies. Very realistic LOL.

My wife killed herself. My little girl died soon after her last trip to the park. I went to work and jumped off the roof.

I found the cure on the last day. It ended with my daughter and I sitting on the park bench alone.

Same

Game is interesting.

Someone confirm that you can't replay it even if you clear your cache. I think you'd have to find another upload somewhere on the net.

To replay it just go into C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\MW6TRKS2\uploads.ungrounded.net\555000 and delete the 555181_One_Chance_NEWGROUND folder and then you can reload the page and play it again.

Thanks. **** the author for doing that type of shit. ****er knows people will find a way around it.

Yes curse that author for trying to do something provocative and interesting such as trying to show a game where your choices have permanent consequences! What a bastard!

There's a quicker, simpler way. Right mouse click in the game window->Settings->Folder icon at the bottom (3rd from left)->Slider to the far left (0kB). Restart.

I could replay it just by updating my browser. But I didn't want to.

Because we don't already live life.

Haha, yeah. Who hasn't had six days to save themselves, their family and the entire earth before. ****ing typical.

Played this and all I have to say is

I'm really pleased with the artistic and emotional depth in some of the flash games. Some are quite moving, more so than many big budget games.
