There has been quite a discussion on the Steam forums that the new Source engine will find its way in a steam update, which will update all Source games. I hope so!

Yes I know that much, but I believe he was trying to say the console versions would have the upgrades.

i can't see why this is even a discussion, Valve would be out of their minds if they only updated the Xbox 360 version.

They are also updating the PS3 version.

I'm sure there will be a PC update at one point, but don't expect with in the next month. Valve has already stated they have no intentions of updating the PC version, but apparently there will be a update for all games to support Multi-Core.

When have they stated this? I find it mighty suspicious that they have "source 2007" gcf's now with hl2 material in it, and since it's not the xbox they're developing for content should be compatible.
