Who has tried them? Stories? Opinions?

Entirely non supernatural.

I used to feel opposite to this, and even believing the evil nature of them. But now I don't really believe in the supernatural.

Here's a Past Raz quote on Oujia boards.

Ghosts are believed to be troubled departed souls in all the circles I know of(what, you think its something scientific <laughs>... and you non religious people don't believe in souls.

I don't believe in ghosts, as much as I do demons. Some of the scariest shit i've ever read and heard about have been Oujia board scenarios.

I really used to think Oujia boards were evil. Now I just think they're a game for fool who think it will do something out of their control.

Garbage. People sub consciously move the ouija piece to where they want it.

I tried Ouija boards a while back. Gave me indigestion.

OKAY I HAVEN'T TRIED THEM JEEZ

I'm not pushing it are you pushing it?
No I'm not pushing it are you pushing it?
No! Are you pushing it?
Yeah, I'm pushing it.

I never messed with em' personally, but my sister said one time her and a friend was attacked by one. The cursor thingy supposedly shot across the room and broke a vase or something nearly missing them when her friend asked if it was controlled by Satan or some crap like that. Then again, she was always the drama queen, over-exaggerating everything.

EDIT> Belay my last statement. I did once try it, and it was too weird for me. People say that the only reason why it moves was because the user tends to be concentrating so hard, he/she subconsciously moves the cursor. I remember I did try it once with this in mind, and I also checked all over the board and cursor for some kind of magnet or something that might be aiding it's movement, but nothing.

Whilst being careful not to press too hard and barely touching it, I asked it how long I would live, and it said 55. I let up my grip slightly and I remembered it jerking from my fingers. Regardless if it's real or not, it was too creepy for me, and probably why I didn't bother to remember until now.

Allow me to speak on behalf of everyone on HL2.net: "I don't believe in that garbage, I'M ATHEIST!" LOL LOL durka-dur.

Whatever you guys think though, do me a favor. Buy one yourselves and examine it thoroughly. Look for magnets and whatnot. I don't want to buy one myself because I don't want to waste any money tbh.

I didn't get a chance to examine it more thoroughly like I wanted too at the time because it wasn't my Quija board to tear up.

I was gonna post a pic of a Ouija getting flicked off... but I'm toooo tired.

Never tried it, don't want to. what the hell do you gain by doing it?? braggin rights??

There are no magnets. It's a piece of carboard and plastic/wood.

It works by ideomotor effect. And yes, I DID have to look that up. Not now, but a long long time ago.

id rather play connect four.

go for it....CONNECT FOUR!

In the east we dont take these things lightly. Shit hits the fan time to time.

Aye and for good reason. Although the supernatural jargon is likely rubbish, automatic writing can bring forth latent mental illness and other odd psychological occurrences/changes. It's a very interesting way to interact with the unconscious and in some cases should not be taken lightly. It is especially not wise to tinker with at times of extreme mental/emotional unrest such as the loss of a loved one or a traumatic episode, hence everyone believing them to have some sort of access to the supernatural.

At least get into the awesome kind of magic, like Conjuration or Quilt-making.

or shrinking heads or self-combustion or monsterism or ...

ouija boards is one of those words like balogna or colonel or bordeux or goebbles that isn't pronounced the way it looks.

My dog ate my board. He also ate my Monopoly board, Sorry board and Candyland board. That bastard.

I still have the multi colored money. I can't find my favorite playing piece though. The damn car.
