PC gamer review prediciotns

I expect a PCG review to give it at least 90%. As I said in another thread, they tend to brown nose big names. That is unless the game is so atrociously bad that they have to rate it less in order to save face.

Any other... 85% to 98%.

PC Gamer gave Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri 98%.. so it's very likely.

That is because Sid Meier is part of the illuminati and part of the mystery explosion at the Pentagon. They didnt want to piss him off.

pc gamer is ususlally generous in their rvewis i mean look at doom 3 it got 94% i believe , and it deserved 85%

exactly. if doom 3 got 94% hl2 might very well get 99-100%

It's nice that everyone is giving a suggestion besides never reading PC Gamer UK before. PC Gamer very rarely give a score above 95%. Half-Life managed to get 96% but that's really rare.

God, thinking it would get a 99? or even a 97? What are you all thinking. It's obviously gonna set a new standard and its gonna like this:

HL2: 95%
Doom 3: 1%
Farcry: .5%

I haven't had the urge to play Doom 3 since beat it...

HL2, CS & HL (on Source) will occupy the majority of my designated gaming time for years to come...

I recently played HL all the way to the end (for the 5th time) even with the super-dated graphics, and had way more fun than Doom 3.

You know, Half-Life 2 could actually be awful. There's no guarantee that it's better than Doom 3.
