PC Gamer UK, I think I love you (SC:CT Demo!)

i'm on 75%...i should be HOPEFULLY playing it tomorrow but i'm not getting my hopes up
 
how would i upload it to http?

EDIT: got a nice increase to about 90-100 kB/s!

Pffft! Nonsense! Sam could - well actually, I've never properly played MGS, but I don't care, Fisher rules! Not just because of his crazy moves and stealth-tasticness (it's a word, look it up), but because of his great sense of humour - one of the best things about the SC series is that it doesn't take itself too seriously - and the fact he's a single dad and clearly modelled in many ways on Jack Bauer.

Sam depends on gadgets while Snake has just raw skill. I mean theres fisher with his googles and stuff hiding in the darkness like a lil baby. Snake can do action & Stealth! Wt kinda of a name is Sam Fisher anyway SOLID SNAKE! (and all tht cool music) is the way forward.

i dnt want this to start into a flame war....u win...just dnt hurt me :(

Yeh MGS rulez. MGS1 has a great story and MGS2 has great gameplay. MGS3 i dnt knw about yet.

oh and dn;t bother with the PC version its a rubbish port

amen brother, though unlike many people I loved the story in MGS 2, it was damn cerebral, but MGS 3 just had it all, everything perfect, the ending was simply amazing, the whole hour or so

Sam Fisher is awesome and pretty damn athletic for his age.

I think there's one seeder right now who's dealing out to one person, who in turn has to deal to the next few, etc.. In other words, that makes progress very slow. If I'm lucky, I'll have it in half an hour, but won't have time to play it until tomorrow. I'll probably seed it overnight, though.

By the time the upload to yousendit finishes, you will have it through bittorrent. A bunch of people (30+) just finished along with me so there are more seeds now. Speeds should increase.
 
Got the demo now, kickass, but now I can only play for like 30 minutes :'(
I hate school... Need to assasinate the principal...
 
Is the demo not working for anybody else? It seems to install fine, but once it loads the splash screen, it gives the normal, XP encountered an error, message, and closes.
 
works brilliantly for me.....doesn't run too smooth but thats expected cos i have a crappy gfx card

the game itself....my god....amazing

weird how none of the spilnter cell fansites i found even know about the pc demo,you would think they'd be the first
