Are 'They' actually aware of the problems Steam has caused?? Do 'They' care as long as 'They' get a lot of money?? Are 'They' going to hold their hands up and apologise instead of stating 'A few players may have experience problems updating steam/hl2'? :flame: :flame: ;(  :( :sniper:

petions on the internet. Uhm, they never work, people "sign" it with bullshit and some people who want that to happen sign 100 times.

No one will ever listen because of a petition you made on the internet.

Ohnoes!!!!!$#@@!$$# 20,000 people probably signed it from getting banned for being moronic. So 6,000 is probably the amount of people that have real trouble, so hmmmm 130,000+ people on steam each day means, you are all stupid and don't know how to use a pc, thanks and come again.

Yeah thats what I thought.

The 20k warez cheaters signed and then 6k retards hows pc sucks too much to run steam properly.

Disturbed I'd like to send out a big "F*ck You!" i am a computer science major in college and am currently getting a degree in MAKING games like HL2. I know more about computers than most people I know however I am UNABLE to play HL2 because it's perceived my PURCHASED copy as an ILLEGAL one. You say those "6000 idiots"...i say chances are there's a decent amount of those 6000 who know what they are doing and are virtually powerless at this point to do much of anything. Have I been banned from steam...no..I play Counterstrike daily...in fact I have for over 5 years now...I have never used a cheat or a crack for HL, CS, or HL2 and am currently getting screwed. So to you I give the single finger salute. ass

Its godam retarded.

You think Valves going to go `oh look a petition, guys lets shut down steam and just drop all our work so these whiners can be happy, yeah- GET RID OF THOSE DAMN SERVERS! 26k signatures! NOWWWWW'

Get real.

What about those of us who simply hate Steam with a passion?

I'm a network administrator, so I doubt that my reason for disliking Steam is that I am "stupid and don't know how to use a PC." I despise it, plain and simple.

Regardless, you are all correct in saying that this petition won't make an ounce of difference.

The reason why most people hate it is because they can't get it to work, plain and simple. Its just a proven fact, and most of the time the people are to ignorant to check for spyware/adware/viruses. :|

I think he was making a point, just as I was when I told you I am a network administrator. You made such a blanket statement about everyone who can't get Steam to work being "idiots who don't know how to use a PC," that we felt we had to demonstrate our level of aptitude with computers to you.
