Photoshop - where do I get it?

I'm interested in using Photoshop for doing various graphical things. I've been using Paint Shop Pro v4.12 for quite a while and I know there are so many more things you can do in Photoshop.

So, if you have Photoshop, I would appreciate it if you told me how you got it.

most people get it from....uh...you know but if you want legit its gonna cost 500+ dollars or you can go PHotoshop element for like 50 which has all the big photoshop stuff but its a lite version kind of, or try getting hold of older versions for cheaper, i use PS 7, my dad has PS 8, both legit, he got it from his company, i got mine from an old pc i bought and it came with it

photoshop isn't the only image tool you can use. There are freebies you can get hold of - Painter being one of the better ones, my copy came free with my wacom pad. I was introduced to digital art with that even before I had photoshop 2.5 way back in '97.

Iv tried photoshop before but like flash its pretty rocky (hard)

Paintshop is pretty easy, like corel draw, photoshop should copy them and also do icons next to its effects
