Has anyone heard of this game? It's only been released in Europe and Japan so far, but this game is awesome. It's really addictive...and everyone who has a DS and likes puzzle games should get this one.

Isn't it just Sudoku?

Nope. Think minesweeper + patterns + logic + deduction.

It's a little tough to explain, so I'll let IGN's review do the talking:
First though, a quick intro for those at the back: Picross (that's Picture Crossword, if you must) puzzles take the form of a blank grid - in this case ranging from 5x5 squares to the ridiculously sized - and your task is to create simple images using your powers of logic and deduction. To aid your progress, each row and column is annotated with a series of numbers - these represent the sequence of unbroken squares in each line. Obviously, it's your job to use logic and work out where they are, shading them in on the grid accordingly. So, for instance, "3, 4, 6" indicates that row contains continuous blocks of three squares, four squares and six squares in that order - the only proviso being there must be at least one empty square between each sequence.

It's really addictive though :D I've played it quite a bit over the last few days.

Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to explain it well but it really is a great game.
I love the Daily Picross. Music is shit though

Looks interesting. I'll get it when it comes to the states. What kind of pictures do you end up with? Simple, ugly, blocky things or something more? I know the final picture doesn't really matter, it's the logic puzzles that matters, but I was just curious.

When you complete a regular puzzle, it turns into an animated picture thing. It kind of goes without saying that the larger the puzzle you complete, the better the picture looks.
