Yeah, I Planned on taking them about 3 hours prior to when I did, but the feast lasted longer than anticipated...*burp*
 
The last one is cool.

Too centered imo. Try not to put the area where you want the viewers eye in the center of your shot.

The tree one was an accident. I was driving and taking random pictures, and then I looked, and realized what I got...I thought it was pretty cool.

The rest...eh...I don't know what it woulda changed if it was off center. Nothing else to look at.

No amazing pictures here...just me in amazement at how awesome this camera is. Before, my old Olympus couldn't pull this off at all....but here they are. Same pictures, one at 15 second shutter speed, the other at 1.5 seconds.

Pretty grainy :| I'm not a whiz at this, but you should change your ISO settings.
 
Lol, I told you guys this wasn't anything spectacular...just doing a night shot. I was amazed at how bright it got the complete blackness. Those shots are at the same time BTW...that's what I took a picture of. I've not had a chance to go out and get something.
 
I like the 'walking distance' one from the start. It will be good to see you get better too. Seems you live in a good area for this stuff?

That's stuff out in the boonies. I live in the middle of a town of 40k, but outside of town, there's alot of pretty stuff. I'm going to try to head out there either this week or this weekend to get some pictures with the new camera.

But this is me playing with the Panoramic View!
 
I don't care what others say... keep taking pictures Cyberpitz. You'll get better at it, and we'll all soak up the goodness like a piece of toast.

People keep talking about rule of thirds this, rule of thirds that. I say forget that right now, and focus on what you want to take pictures of. Your style will improve, your techniques and eye for good photos will improve. You can then easily adopt any rule that these people are talking about, with a better feel for it than they themselves have... who only experience with it might probably be reading that wikipedia article.

Thanks Raz. That meant alot to me. This weekend *Either Sunday or Monday* is my photo day run. I'll be sure to upload the pictures here and hopefully you guys will see an imporvement, or at least a few decent pictures. :D

Yeah I've asked him a whole lot already, he's taught me a decent amount too. I thank him for the tips he's given me. I just need to find a place that doesn't look retarded and get a picture, but it's tuff for me. If only Sinko lived HERE not on some cruddy island :p
 
This one I was hoping for better, but I can only ask for so much at midnight...Was hoping for less of a "lens flair" with the street light, but I had to find a way to make it brighter, so I lowered the shutter speed and lowered the ISO down to 200 I think...I don't know, maybe Sinko can come and save me.
