Pitz's attempted awesome pictures!

I actually like some of your pictures, unlike the rest of the people in this thread who are just being nice in hopes that they'll get to sleep with you.

It takes a little more than saying some good things to get into bed with me..*coughmoneycough*

Alright guys, I finally went out and started snapping pictures. I got some really good results I thought, but here are about 1/3 of the pictures I took *Obviously these are the best ones I took...* Let me know what you think! All in 1280 x 1024 resolution for your desktop making needs.

And for funnies!

Those are truly stunning.

The pictures, not her boobs.

Haha thanks. I enjoyed taking these pictures. Half the time I was just driving, would look out the window, slam on the breaks, back up a bit, then get out and take the picture....Only a few of those pictures were planned. The sun worked out wonderfully for me this time.

It's that time again, folks!

It's starting to snow and it's awesome...

Hey Pitz, how did you do the Panoramic? That's amazing.

Your first snow picture is good in terms of focus: The pack of trees in the middle really attracts attention, too bad about the snowbump. The second one is very bland, needs moar anything :p

I'd take some picture outside, but it's so cold.

Hey Pitz, how did you do the Panoramic? That's amazing.

My camera has a feature called, "StitchAssist" where you set it, and you take one picture...then it keeps that picture on 1/2 the screen so you can aim up your next shot. Then you just keep going until you have as many as you need. Then the CD came with a program that "stiches" the pictures together...pretty damned well, actually. I love this camera :D

But that second snow picture is from the lake, the picture of the night with the light there....it's the same one ...just...snowy.

This was a fun one I just ran across again. Took it while I was on the flight to Las Vegas.

That looks really beautiful.

Aww I was hoping for more picture after I scrolled to the right :(

Still pretty tho :p

And now for a new picture! I saw the sky, thought it looked really nifty.

That's nice, but you should be more aware of what's getting into your shot when you take the shot, or anticipate for cutting out things you don't want.

Rly, I think the shot would have turned out better if you hadn't gotten either of the houses into the shot. It would have given it a sense of wide open emptiness, and made it much more mysterious.

Liek that.

Hmm, it does make sense, but I was just snapping a picture. wasn't going for anything but the sky

Hows this one for better?

Oh my...

That's amazing. PM high-rez, or link... I need that as my desktop. NEED.

Tis beautiful.

IMO i'd say trim like, a centimeter off of the bottom to offset the road from the center.

Trees could have been more...green....but I like the way the sky turned out in this one.

That tree in the right side foreground really ruins the picture in my opinion. It disrupts the lines of the image too much.

The tree adds something to the right side. Otherwise it would have been bare. I think it helps to add depth to the picture, imo...

Then again, what do I know? :(

I disagree completely. It gives the illusion of the road converging into a single point.

The tree still could have been in the picture, but I think if you had shot 3 or 4 feet to the left it would have been a much better photo.

It's intrusive, and breaks the lines of the picture.

Of course though, it's just my opinion and you don't have to take it onboard.

Where did you take these pictures? I like this one the most. http://img218.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lakeme4.jpg

All the pictures I have taken are right near my house. I live RIGHT outside of Joplin, so I just drive my car around, will see something good looking, and take the picture...

And Kester, I understand, it's up in your grill. But I took a few pictures, one without the tree there, and the picture was even more....blah.

I also think you should take your shots to photoshop or another program before you display them. A quick play with the one I commented on earlier gives this:

*SNIP*

Yeah but, like that one, to me the lacking of that tree to the right just takes away from the picture itself. I don't know, to me it just adds more life to it, and that extra feeling of depth helps me out a lot.

He's right. Snipping that picture reduced it somehow.

/EDIT No, not in the 'space' reduction way. Think harder.

Haha, yeah...that tree in the fore front really makes a difference in the picture, imo.
