What monitor you going to get? If it's LCD try to get a 16ms response time or faster (12ms if you can!!).

Looks good, but I would buy some Corsair or OCZ ram.
Oh, and spend some more on better speakers.

ok and also momo, what about the video card, cuz i saw another one thats the SAME type but different company on newegg but had like 75 mhz instead of 85 mhz (i think its mhz not sure) but it was like 40 bucks less AND came with doom 3 (DONT FLAME ME!!)

That was probably a regular 6800, instead of a GT. I would get the GT. (I don't know what you mean with the Mhz thing.)

Looks good. You may want to go with a socket 939 processor, for easier upgrading in the future. They stopped making new 754 processors.

EDIT: Yes, go with the second EGVA video card. :) Can't argue with that.

Oh, you're talking about the Refresh rate it would have with the highest resolution. It doesn't mater since you probably wouldn't be running at 2048X1536.
Read some reviews to help you decide between the companies.(They both look like good cards.)

They stopped making S754's?
And yeah, I would get a 939, since they OC alot better, and run cooler.

ok and whats wrong with the speakers (moMo) lol sry also, wats that processor ur talking about? (me dumb dumb when it comes to computers, friend made this for me!) OH YEA! and, did u look at the link for the processor, cuz i think its named wrong, double check plz!

They're a little cheap, and most people don't realize this, but most of the excitement in a game comes from the sound.

yo momo, do u have AIM man? can we talk about this on that? its alot faster then the forums Vito Dintino is my AIM if u want to

Instead of the Socket 754 MB and Socket 754 3200+ AMD64 chip I would get a Socket 939 MB and the 90nm Socket 939 3200+ AMD64.

Two reasons why: the 90nm 3200+ (939) overclocks well. I believe it was Hardocp did some tests and it oced over 300MHz stabably (they got it up to 3800+ speeds). And the second reason is with a 939 board you will have the proper socket for new high end chips + next year in late 2005/2006 the first desktop dual cores will be on the 939 for AMD.

A 939 MB/Chip may cost you an extra few $ now, but the couple extra you spend now will allow some nifty upgrades down the road.

My only other suggestion would be, if you can wait, wait for a PCIe 939 board. PCIe, while offering no real benefits now, will down the road with WGF/DirectX 10 and things like TurboCache/HyperMemory (fancy names for Virtual Video Memory).
