Oh, was this an online petition? Well, if so, it's pretty obvious to see why Valve did it. If the petition got, say, 1,00 signatures - that's 1,000 people who wouldbe interested in buying a plush headcrab. 1,000 times 25 dollars is 25,000 dollars... and, well, you get the picture

I noticed that too when I first saw it. The first headcrab picture is almost all brown while the other 3 headcrab pictures have a more light brown woodsy like brown to them. Maybe the first one was a concept picture? And btw if your entire purchase is $50 or more S&H is free. It may be cheaper to but 2 items than 1.

S&H isn't free... only delivery within the US. In other words, you'll save about $5.

I can play with myself while I'm waiting, if necessary. I mean $61, that's just ridiculous. This is pure merchandising, the price reflects in no way the cost of labour and materials with a reasonable profit margin.

Most likely they were made in some small Chinese village factory by people who have never seen or heard of a headcrab, let alone Half-Life.

halflife2 is like the starwars in videogames so They can do a good merchandise on halflife with cool characters from the game or strider, ship and all those stuff. im sure lots of people will enjoy this. i know i will.
