Political Compass

Voluntary collectivism is still free market though - because it's voluntary.

The intention is left wing though - people pooling their resources for the good of society as a whole. Just because something is voluntary does not make it 'free market' - thats looking at it from a politically biased perspective.

Although OvA, Ikerous, Sainku, Kirovman seems to be getting out of teh axis of EVIL.

You do realize you're more right wing than most neoconservative fundamentalist Christians right? ;)

The further down the social scale you go, the smaller the government gets - therefore in Ennui's case (ie Anarcho-syndicalist i'm guessing) its all local, voluntary collectivism. Read the articles on the site, it explains it pretty well.
It's impossible- that's not a political viewpoint then because there's no legislative policy to back it up.

If it was all voluntary (no matter collectivist or a business owner), that'd put him on the far right for economics. Far left economics REQUIRES state enforcement to succeed, lest someone goes off on their own and becomes successful throwing the leftist system out of balance.

Im not arguing whether it'd work or not. I dont see what the problem is - where would you put Anarch-Syndicalism etc on the scale? You can't just say 'oh it wouldnt work therefore it isnt a political viewpoint'. That isnt being neutral or objective, thats inserting your own opinion into the actual system of measurement.

Economic Left/Right: -8.13

hey, I'm close to Dalai Lama :D

Economic Left/Right: -2.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.56

Economic Left/Right: -1.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.18

Pretty close to the center here which is why I sort of don't bother with politics. I often don't have a strong opinion either way, except when it comes to things like religion and sex.

Yes voluntary does exactly make it free market, because the market is not controlled by anyone except the property owners when it comes down to it.

No I mean to say it's like claiming "I'm a pacifist war activist"

It's not something you can claim to be because doing so isn't real- it's one or the other. Leftist economics = heavy regulation. Regulation = done by the state. He can't claim to be an anarchist if he favors heavy regulation.

Voluntary collectivism is right wing for economics because it's completely voluntary, and a pretty cool thing.
