Your brain does not read letters, it reads whole words at once. So when I tpye lkie tihs you sitll udnersantd etcaxlty waht I am syanig. However, the first and last latter of a word always have to be in the right order for that to work. So the word 'nothign' is incorrect even when taking into account the functioning of the brain.

In short: learn2spell. People also tend to take you more seriously than just a rambling idiot when you do.

I would argue that a core reason behind the brain being able to decipher improperly-spelt words is that the vast majority of the text you read as a child is spelt properly. It's my personal belief that as soon as you start bringing up children who learn to read through books written by people that can't spell, the problem of illiteracy is going to get much, much worse.
