Port From Milkshape

i suggest downloading xsi to do it. also use google there are a few tutorials on this. for milkshape though theres a video tutorial on smallsumo's website. which is www. smallsumo . t k
 
i dont think they have made the plugins for milkshape yet i sugest exporting to obj or 3ds and importing it into max and then using cannon fodders exporting plugins
 
if its human characters i suggest you join the dark side and use xsi. you can then steal the weightmaps and adjust them to save you lots of time. also its free and much nicer.

Lies. There's an "Export as SMD" function in Milkshape. Although, it doesn't support bone weighting.
