Possible Adrian Shephard cameo???

Adrian's definitely not dead, just sleeping ... forever ...

This thread isn't closed yet? Isn't the OP banned?

Petey's right though, Adrian's gone.

Stop kidding yourselves.

Petey is the new village idiot.

Come on, man, get over it. I really doubt we're ever running into him again, unless Gordon seems to slip into the vortex with him.

It wouldn't be bad if he came back, but I think it'd be a little redundant

And it might make the story look kinda stupid.

How so?
And why do you think he's dead - the Gman told him he will be moved somewhere else, I quote - "where you can do no harm, and no harm will come to you". It might be stasis, it might be another galaxy, hell, maybe another dimension - It's a fact that we do not know what exactly happened and we will continue so until one of Valve's next games clears all speculation.

Well, the point of Gordon's quest now is to get to the Borealis,

But I don't think Adrian is gonna magically appear there, and why would Gman spawn him there? They'd need some kind of REASON to bring him in, and I don't think theres a way they can do that with out Gman saying: "****, I'm bored... I wonder if that guy is still alive in that portal...."

You're 100% correct that there should be reason before they bring him in - the Borealis is surely not the place, you know. Fingers crossed, safety buckles tighten and away we wait for Valve to bring him in in the NEXT games...

Yeah, you're right. It'd be cool if he came back, but I don't think Episode 3 would be the right time.

Oh, well, we might just wait for Opposing Force 2 to come along or have faith in the Mod community to bring him back in a unique mod for HL2. As all is said, the subject is all open to interpretation right now - will we see him some time in the future or will Gman keep him in stasis for hundreds of years after the events in HL2, to save another world or put it under his dominion.

The world will never know.. yet.

HECU and blackops were the coolest thing ever. It's way bad we don't even see a trace or a reference to them in the new ones. Well, their corpses or uniforms wouldn't have much place in city 17 or white forest anyways. They should've introduced a resistance that was former-military.

Why not throw a gman-like appearence of him walking away or something. Or how about you overhear to resistence members talking about someone named shepard. Neither of the ideas involves shephard interrfering with the plot line, which is why most people are against him coming back.
