Generally in any area you have one way forward and one way back. i.e. two paths in front of you and only one is usable to take you forward whilst the second you can use to get back.

The first was just a reaction really, I waltz into the back garden after sniping a few people from the nearby treehouse only for the dog to go mental, I had to nail with my nailgun. As for that ****ing white little puppy that followed my target around on the winter level, ****ing hell I was glad to shoot that little annoyance.

Am I the only one who thinks that the post processing makes this games shadows, decals and generally the whole game look a thousand times better?

also did you turn off post processing completely or do you just have the blur farther off?(I'm guessing that what's stemot was getting at)

I actually have no idea how to turn the post processing shit on, so I just play without it.

Specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz
2GB ram
Nvidia 8800GT512

it runs at about 40-50fps after I did a few tweaks. Just had to disable vsync with a console command and get a program that bypasses securom or whatever the copy protection is.

Press 'P' in game. The effect looks alot better at higher resolutions too, plus as far as I can tell, it doesn't effect FPS.

then yes.

The effect isn't as visible close up if you run in higher res's I find, but it adds motion blur to certain speed levels and more drunk effects as well (check out being pissed in a taxi for a real buzz)
