post your 3dmark05 scores here

961, with cpu running at 2gigz, instead of 2.4, and GPU not touched.

I'll do overclock bench tommorow.

I had about 2 fps the entire time, I was all happy to have this comp lol

3dmark is crap, 5900xt is a far superior card to 9600xt, yet 9600 blows 5900 away in 2005.
I spit on 3dmark

I got 1170 !! WTF does that sound right ??

Athlon 3000+ 333 fsb
180 gb HD
40 GB HD
Radeon 9600 pro 256 mb, 128-bit
512 pc3200 RAM
250 watts PSU

1 FPS the whole time anyone get more than 1
FPS ?

Game: 4154
Cpu: 3310

p4 3.0 800mhz
1 gig of corsair 3200
g 6800 ultra
80 gig 7200 rpm
sound blaster audigy

I got higher then I suspect, but man that video of the marines where awsome, can't wait till actual games are that intense.

Omg. . . do i have the fastest 2K5 score here?!

5229

Running 66.xx drivers on a 6800GT 410/1.11

Sorry ATi fanboys =(

Thats pretty sweet, are those the drivers that dynamically overclock your card?

And if you don't mind, how much did you have to shell out for the XT PE? My 6800GT was $400 on newegg.

Tom's just did a review of it here

That monster 400 pound copper heatsink makes overclocking easy. :)

U you a pritty bad graphics card, I'm guessing you also have unbranded ram. Your power suply is far from powerfull. But that wouldn't effect the score.

Your CPU seems to be the only OK! part about it, but its only got 333fb. So boo hoo.

Conclusion: Your system sucks, thats why u got a disapointing score.

I'm actually not sure if those drivers have the AI improvement, but I think they do. I think they switch between bilinear and trilinear filtering to improve the performance, with a minimal loss (not noticable by the naked eye) of graphical quality.

I payed about $600 for my GPU in Norway. Expensive, but I rarely upgrade so I just couldn't keep myself from buying it. I'm getting rid of the stock cooling soon, and think about going for watercooling for my rig. I just need to get familiar with the watercooling technology first :) (My rig doesn't need a bath)

The 6800GT is a nice gpu :E

Catalyst AI will not affect synthetic benchmarks like 3DMark 05. This performance increase is because of the driver improvements. Nothing else.

Bullshit. 5500 with a 9800 pro? Not even x800pro can get that.
I have almost the exact same specs as you and get 2103 @ stock speeds. So either you made a typo or you're lieing like no one has lied before. :monkee:

Kiva.....read.....he said no aa no af and 10x7 res.

Asus isn't here right now. I'll have to do. :naughty:

Kiva is right. The score is way to high for 3D Mark 05 with a 9800 Pro. He should be getting half of that score.

Maybe he is using 03 ??? That would be silly.

:\ idk, there was no need to just blatantly call the man a liar though. maybe he did mess up. however, i can see it as a believeable score with no aa/af at that res.

it's not a believeable score, he's lying

If you get anything near 3000 points with a 9800pro you have a kick arse system. anything higher is impossible.

Lay off, he could have made an honest mistake and thought this was a 3D Mark 03 thread. This seems to be the best explanation since a score of 5500 with a 9800 Pro seems reasonable.

reasonable for a 3dmark 2003 score yes, but not 2005.

are those drivers only for 3dmark05? Do they have those AI things?

Anyways my new score is 5600 which is pretty amazing

For the record, I can read thank you very much. And FYI, all the tests are done at 1024*768 no aa/af (unless you have it forced via control panel, or you have the full version of 3dmark05) so yes, I know what I'm talking about.

And yes 5500 is impossible for 05 with a 9800pro. You'd have to OC to X800 speeds (not possible...yet) and even then it'd still wouldn't get that. Now like others have said, with 3dmark03 that's a normal score for that card.

Holy crap you're lying out your ass so hard it's not even funny.

I got 2322 and my system specs are:

P4 3.0 C
Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb 256bit
1024mb PC3200 Ram ddr400
abit ic7-g mobo

and my score was also on 1024x768. You're telling us your 3DMark03 Score. Mine is a bit over 6000 on that.

:dozey: Hit damn ATi Pwnz with the 4.10 BETA! I went from 3861 yesterday to a whopping 4745!

3.2C
x800 Pro
1 Gig ram

:O Odd... despite the huge performance increase that I got with the new drivers in 3DMark05, when I ran 3Dmark03, results were very different. I got about 10,000 marks, score dropped a bit more than other times, but why is it that there was an increase in 3DMark05 and not in 3DMark03!?

3Dmark2005 must be very dependant on memory efficency compared to 3Dmark2003. :shrugs:

Regardless though there should have been a increase.

Or so I thought.

This deserves closer examination. But sadly I dont have ATI.

I just got the 66.70 drivers on my system and I am running a couple benchmarks and will have them up soon but so far I have seen 800 more 3dmark05 points over the previous drivers which were the 61.77's.

seem to have the highest score... even though everything seemed really choppy with low frame rate, i wonder of this benchmark...
