X850 XT (oc'ed to PE wont let me oc much past that :( )
AMD 64 3500+ (2354mhz i know run at 2400 and soon to be 2600 when i get DL the new bios for my mobo letting me raise my FSB past 220)
1 gig Geil PC3200 ram

It's the cpu and memory bandwidth you want to be raising m8. With these x800's and x850's it's the cpus holding them back. My x800xtpe is actually underclocked and it still scores 13000 in 03 (with my cpu at stock it hits about 11900). Once it's rma'd for a card that runs at stock (and hopefully far beyond that) i'd be suprised if it wont hit 14000.

But for real world gaming (especially HL2) overclocking your cpu is going to make far more difference than overclocking your gfx card.

well my mobo has a problem with raising the FSB past 220... so once i get the new bios for my mobo i plan on OCing to 2.6 ghz, but i dont think it would hurt being able to rase my GFX card past 540/594

It looks to me like anything above 6000 is really good... My new system will be running soon, and I will post its marks then. I noticed that someone used "SuperPi" as a bench mark. FYI, PiFast (v 4.3 by Xavier Gordon) is much faster and even on my current setup (which is not as good as the one listed below) it can calculate 1MB in like 3 seconds. I guess it doesn't matter that much, but you could check your benchmark faster, plus you could get a lot more of pi if you're a math geek like me :) I've tried for large amounts like 1GB before, but it takes a few days, and then it's difficult to open the file. Maybe with my new rig I can do it.

did it on the demo version though.

Is it ok?

i knew i had this lying around somewhere, found it on a pc gamer dvd, ran it and got 4447 on the default settings on the free version.

comp:

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz
RADEON X800 XT pci-e 256mb
gig of ddr2 ram @533mhz.

thats about right for my specs? no overclocking or anything going on.

Yeah, this motherboard is about 2 and a half years old ... I need to get on the 64-bit bandwagon because this 32-bit rig is as far as it can go. I'll have to wait till I finish uni and get a job before I can afford upgrades though, so I guess i'll just have to make do with this till then.

You should get almost the same score as him. 2005 is almost completely GFX card based. The drivers you used were probably not the newest ones. I remember when 2005 just came out, if you used the 'current' ATI drivers they did about 4000/5000 but if you used the drivers that JUST came out then your score went up to about 6000.

Everyone remember that this is a benchmark, as in a standard by which to compare systems. It does not necessarily dictate how well one system will run games.

Am I reading this right? A PCIx 6800? At 1x? Even if it was PCIe at 1x, that would be especially weird too. Aren't the SLI interfaces PCIe or AGP?

1080 with 9500, barton 2500+, 1 gig of ram (kingston and crucial)

getting my x850xt in about 2 months have to see that then

I ran all tests on standard configuration and with Overdrive turned off.

I got 5940 3DMarks.

CPU: AMD Athlon64 3500+ 2.20GHz Socket939
Graphics card: Connect3D Radeon X800XT Platinum Edition
Memory: Corsair 1024MB DDR
