It is possible to change your name, without changing your account, but I forgot the command.
 
Look at who tha guy have been playing with, both EA guys.
 
Weehee! Finally got upgraded to Private First Class (took me two damned days). I also finally got my basic medic combat medal, considering all the time I spend as a medic, and some ribbon. Some guy beat me to the bronze medal on that server in the last maybe 5 seconds of the round though. I'll never get a medal now :( .

Fly very high and parachute out.....I got so high it took me like 5 minutes to land and i got the ribbon not even half way down yet.

badges from left to right (1st), Basic Armor. (2nd) Basic Helo.

ribbon: Meritorius Unit award. (multiclassing in a squad to support your unit)

I also just scored a ton of awards, including my basic first aid, two bronze medals, and my first gold medal :naughty: .

EDIT: Sorry, meant to say I got BASIC FIRST AID, not BASIC MEDIC COMBAT. I've had BMC for awhile.
 
Just wondering, how many people do you have to heal in a round to get basic first aid?

Not too sure, but I heal lots of people per round. My score is usually made up of 4-6 kills and the rest is revivals and first aid, and i'll score around 80 per round.
 
I believe it's 10 healing points. You get healing points by handing out med kits, not reviving.
 
If you want insane points go support. Most everyone will need ammo and you get a point each time someone picks up a kit. I was doing this for fox and maintained the top score in the game for most of the game until we started getting owned.

BTW, anyone know how to get the purple heart or the last unknown one?

Theres what I have so far, I am missing 3. purple heart, ground defense(kill 10 guys with a ground defense vehicle) and an unknown. Anyone got any ideas?
 
Another question: How did you get Basic Explosive Ordinance? 10 kills with the M203, grenades or C4?

Also, there's still plenty of unknown medals. Pretty much all people are getting are the Bronze/Silver/Gold Stars.

Edit: There's lots of ribbons you have yet to receive as well.

The Purple Heart falls in the "medals" category. It looks like the three "badges" you're missing are Basic Engineer, Basic Air Defense, and Basic Ground Defense.

Also, every badge has three levels: Basic, Veteran, and Expert
 
I'm really baffled. I personally believe I should have many ribbons and awards I don't have. I've done amazing things in a jet, as well as use anti-aircraft vehicles loads of times. Also, one time on Strike at Karkand, I led a full squad which was using AMAZING tactics, and by the end of the round, not only did I get a gold medal, I also had a score of 93. Where was my officer's ribbon and crap? :(

You have to do it consistently I guess.
 
I was under the impression that basically all badges are round-based, as in, get 7 kills with a pistol to get the Pistol Basic Combat badge, you know?

I wish EA would elaborate on how to acquire the awards offered, but not too specifically. Just give us an idea on how to collect some stuff so we don't never have them.
 
ive gotten the airborne ribbon 4 times allready, sad it doesnt save it, that and another ribbon that never got saved can't recall name. Not to mention I think my stats for yesterday werent calculated right, no big deal I guess.

Medals are usually earned in one round, ribbons over many.

It says you get the purple heart by dying in combat in that link bvgasm posted. o_O

Airborne ribbon was the weirdest thing. My blackhawk pilot just kept gaining altitude so we wouldn't be targeted as much. We flew outside the map and I parachuted but never got any lower. So I suicided and voila... Parachute infantry ribbon thingy.

I cannot, for the life of me get the pistol badge or the transport badge. I just got out of a round where I got 15 transport kills and I still didn't get it. Anybody know how to get it?

As for the pistol badge...I just seem to be 1 or 2 kills short of the badge when the round ends. At least when I get 10 in one round from now on I should get the veteran badge.

I got all of those, just keep at it and you will get them eventually. For the pistol, it is pretty easy to get it with the sniper, shoot them once with the rifle (m24) and then take out the pistol to finish them.
 
It's easiest to get these combat badges at Karkand. :thumbs:

Less vehicles to deal with.
 
Has anybody gotten medals besides Gold, Silver and Bronze stars? Oh yeah, and the purple heart.

I have 5 times more knife kills than pistol kills :D

The problem is I run around too much without trying to save my own skin, so I get a really crappy kill/death ratio.

Around how much time of playing did you get your ribbons? After 13 hours I still have none :(.
