I'm horrible uploader! D:

edit: haha whoops I posted the one from like august where I had a little bit slower connection

Crappy test :) I can download stuff from torrents at 10.7MB/s...only legal stuff of course :)

Most accurate download speed that I could get, but it should hit almost 1100 kB/s. Upload should be around 110 kB/s.

its about as exciting as the "post your space bar" thread I saw once......(not here)

Open a random thread in the politics section and you'll be amazed how fun it is to post pictures of your keyboard.

I am going to be getting FIOS in a couple days. I am interested to see how drastically it changes. Be sure to look for my thread after I get it :)

A better website for speed tests, and the one I use... is dslreports.com

They also have other great tests you can use to help optimize your internet.

Why are we doing mb/s?

That's my mb/s anyways. seems wrong.

hmm.

EDIT: oh. downloading something. one second.

There we go. Still seems so low.

Your download is more than twice his. However, his upload is more than twice yours.

I know my D/L is bigger, but he said his UPLOAD was slow, so I was just pointing out that his dwarfs mine like Christmas is to Columbus Day.

Wow, everyone uploads so much slower than me...

Same server...higher dl and slower ul

It's always fluctuating, damn dorm connection XD

Funny in Auckland I have a wider bandwidth than I have in Sofia, interesting

Deathmaster, costyn_elite and rebel_magic, you forgot to put it to kB/s. So you still have to devide the result by 8 :)

I thought kB and kb were two different measures?

They are; kilobits (kb) and kilobytes (kB). One byte is 8 bits. So 1 kB/s is 8 times faster than 1 kb/s.

edit - weird, it seems that the image looks different per pc. At school like 30 minutes ago I saw the image of the last 3 guys in kb/s, now at home they are in kB/s.
