Update

I turned up my CS:S Video Settings and got the pics below. I din't know the spray quality would increase! And I made a few more, also below.

Still can't get vtex to work. Can someone [who has it working] tell your steps to produce the .vtf/.vtm 's using vtex?!? Mine just says "Cannot open <filename>.vtf". and never creates one. Trys to create a text doc in the folder also.

Go buy MGS3snakeater today! And I love these forums...

I have noticed several ways to create sprays.
What is the difference between importing directly a 256X256 jpg spray on the menu screen and using a tga file (transformed in 2 files as vtm and vtf through "VTex") and load them in the logo file?
The second way requires more time; what is the added value?

I dont see added benefit to using a vmt, unless you're gonna have it animated. or can you add funky shaders?

Using the converter (TGA to VTF), you can make sprays transparent and animated.

This is one I made about... 5min. ago. (P.S. My name in-game in Toravisu and the Japanese is Toravisu in Japanese... Toravisu is my name in Japanese... see? It all goes full-circle.)

Looks better in-game.

Can someone tell me why I can't get my spray to work.....I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff. It's a JPEG and it's 200x200 but it doesn't show up when I try to import it.
