Post your Spore creatures here!

It depends on what base skin you give your creature, some are shiny, some aren't.

congratz...penis monsters got OLD after the first one was made. say it with me f-a-i-l.

Shouldn't infantile young males actually be obsessed with breast and vag monsters?............

Thats it, from now on every creature with so much as a crotch bump representing a penis is instantaneously and irrevocably...

...GAY.

10 dollars. Yes. It's less than the price of a pizza or anything else that is cheap you might buy instead with the money.

I may be buying. So it's the 100% full version?

The 100% full creature creator version. You have the 75% missing pieces that you didn't have during the trial version as well as those parts, which contained 25%.

So i pay 10 now, but still have to pay to do whatever it is you do later in september?

You pay 10 less, though, if you purchase the creature creator.

Economically, you're actually gaining.

Apparently if you buy the creator now, you get a coupon that you can use if you preorder the full game off the website, which will deduct the equivalent of the value of the creator.

At least, that's what i read on the UK version of EA's site.

You only get 5 dollars off if you purchase the retail game through EA. That leaves the price according to their site around 55 dollars.

That's not including shipping though, so we didn't bother pre-ordering through them.

I almost bought this an hour ago at Walmart, came in one of those standard flat-ish DVD cases.
But I figured I'd just be better off buying the game in September rather than teasing myself with the editor.

I'm somewhat regretting it now, I ended buying the second season of Stargate SG-1 instead.
Gonna be watching that for a better part of the week.

I made a creature but I couldn't save it.
That was horrible, I had put in a good amount of work in it.

Well, it's sort of a glorified demo.

Yeah, but this is EA... they'll do anything to scrape in money.
Hell, I was surprised when I saw that it was only $9.85, half-expected it to be $20.

SHHHH, don't give them any ideas!

EA just announced that there will be a monthly subscription fee for the full version of the creature creator, to shore up mounting developing costs for the full game. The subscription fee service will be suspended upon the release of the full game.

EA just announced that they'll be charging you 25 cents per part you put on your creature and they'll be charging you 5 cents for every millimeter you stretch out your creatures body.

They have no plans to remove this after the full game's release.

I was closing steam community while uploading this skin. Holy shit.

Lol I hope you're kidding, gimme a link

EA have also announced that they are going to be repossessing the houses of people who have bought the Creature Editor due to lack of revenue.

EA: Hey, we're offering you the chance for evolution at your fingertips RIGHT NOW, this very instant! Would you rather receive it for free yet have it take millions of years?

I keep going to D2D.co.uk thinking of buying it, but then I stop, I know its dirt cheap, five bob, piddliest note to part with ever, but then I think "Might as well leave the extra doodads for the full game", so when I get it the CC has enough surprises to make creating critters as fun and exciting as the first time with the demo version.

I broke down and got the full version, and I've felt horrible ever since. I hate EA almost as much as I love the game, so giving them $10 to get completely ripped off on something I know I'll love rips my head apart.

In the meantime, here are my creatures:

I like to create pretty simple ones, and I have an aversion to legs.

I really love how expressive this guy is:

Wait, I'm sorry for being a n00b, but how do I post pics?

Upload them somewhere like Imageshack or something, then use the [/IMG] thing. e.g

http://www.example.com/something.jpg[ /IMG]

and remove the space in the second IMG.

I'm surprised no one made this yet (or other CG replica's):
