i wish everyone would just dismiss uwe boll and forget about him

You know what? That poster actually looks damn hilarious.

Pff, Uwe wishes he was "controversial". He's such an irrelevant little pissant it's not even funny anymore.

I hope one of those four screens is in this state. I've gotta see it.

I actually want to see it. Why don't people stop being pussies and just don't go watch it if they don't like it? Quit pushing your beliefs and wants on other people.

But, you'd actually WASTE money to watch a movie that you know is going to be Grade A dog shit?

I'll torrent it just to see HOW shit it is

That's all there is to really do, since you can't just go watch a good movie, then peak into the theater and watch it for free, if you wanted.

Either way, wasn't Dogma under a lot of scrutiny like this, too?

But Dogma was Kevin Smith.

Postal is Uwe Boll.

Both were extremely controversial. I SERIOUSLY doubt the movie got knocked off the theaters because of the director. If that's the case, why are we letting in 90% of the movies in theaters?

Transformers would've been in like 3 theatres if that was the case :p

I wanted to watch this just because it looks nothing short of rediculous, cheesy, and stupid, and we all need that in our lives every so often. Since I wont be able to see it, I will probably torrent it as well.

It seems to me like we've been hearing about Postal for a long time. I'd speculate that its been in the can and must be really awful, so the studio doesn't want to release it.

No, it's being denied by theatres because it makes tasteless jokes about 9/11 and other obviously sensitive issues. Doesn't change the fact that Uwe did it. But hey, don't let us save you the worst $10 you'll ever spend. :)

Also -

con?tro?ver?sy

1. a prolonged public dispute, debate, or contention; disputation concerning a matter of opinion.
2. contention, strife, or argument.
Calling it 'controversial' implies someone gives a shit. They don't, so it isn't.

To all of you writing now about me and the fact that POSTAL is not getting screens.its okay ..its fun kicking a guy nonstop who is on the ground you are all not getting it that i'm the guy who made it against the big hollywood system and you are all only busy to destroy me and finish me up and then you YOU WON WHAT ? the attention of the studios, michael bay .. ????? if you damage me you feel closer to Hollywood ? what is your game plan?
Yep.

I will see this movie just for the last scene.

Obama and Bush in a happy ending.

Yep.

wow Uwe is crazy ..he definately has a persecution cmplex ..and he blames everything else instead what's apparent to anyone else: he sucks

But piracy is communism! How will poor Uwe get any incomes if everyone torrents his movies?

No it isn't. I places firm class divides between those with dedicated lines, high-speed internet, dial-up, and none.

Did Badhat just say the movie WASN'T controversial...
....
what is this thread, the "make vague points"?

There's a difference between controversial and just plain offensive. The movie was banned outright from all but four cinemas... not much controversy there. I know, I'm nitpicking, but it seems like calling it controversial is somehow giving Uwe a bit of credit, and that just won't stand. :p
