No, because this relates to the purchase of HL2, which will be available through Steam when CS:S is available to be unlocked.Yombi said:wouldn't this be better suited in the CS: S Forum?
Nowhere has Valve stated that we have the final, 'to be released' version of CS:S on our PC's. They could still find bugs in the code that need updating, and of course there could be issues with the billing system or Steam that could delay things.
This is how you get disappointed by delays, you assume there is nothing that could cause them.
Going on past history - somone saying 'a Valve relase is likely to be late' has a higher probablity than Valve of being correct.but Valve said next week, and who would know better, Valve or someone on the boards?

The 'release' of CS:S might be later than next week.
Please kids, don't get ants in your pants if that happens. Lets be nice and calm and adult about this.

What the fudge are you talking about? VALVe hasn't set any dates since 30th september, of course they can be on time when they say the game will come out absoutely, no doubt about it, definately no later than... sometine this year...Someone said:Lately Valve has been "reasonably" on time...so I think it will be fairly close to this week. Maybe a few days off, maybe a week, but all things considered I won't complain about that...
Although I'm sure many will complain if it's 7 seconds late since it seems some just need something to complain about

Jakeic said:Well, considering everyone who is preloading off of steam already has CS:S on their computer, the only thing that would stop the release would be some sort of injunction on the behalf of VU
