Problems with Fraps

Hey Guys, i recently got Fraps and installed it, however it does not load, i double click the shortcut on my desktop and it does f*&^ all, any help please :E

But I didnt pay for mine, so I dunno if that has anything to do with it.

have you tried going to the fraps folder in program files running the main exe file just to make sure its not a dodgy problem with the shortcut that the installer is creating during installlation. Also after you have tried to run it, Press control, alt & delete and see if fraps.exe is running.

Nope that still isn't working unfortunatly ;(

Are there any other programs then Fraps which are good with recording, apparently Gamecam is pretty crap, any other suggestions to help sort Fraps or programs ?

I have fraps but my game gets laggy when I start recording

Not sure why it doesn't work. Maybe try to find a different version of Fraps somewhere online.

That is pretty typical. Thats why if you can it's best to record a game demo first then play it back for recording. And with a lower resolution than you normally play at.
