Public nudity

Should not be banned, all except the fat/ugly people.

Isn't it already banned?

It's been legal in my city for quite a few years now (for both sexes). However seeing as I am in northern Ontario (Canada), it isn't very practical to walk around in the nude, at least for most of the year.

I have nothing against it but I see no reason for it. It's cold, so we wear clothes!

It shouldn't be banned for anybody, except in places of business or eating establishments, which are also places of business.

I have mixed feelings.

Althogh I don't think the government should care about what people wear in public, nudity is a very touchy issue.

I think that there definatley should be some restrictions, especially around children and major international buisnesses. I think that it might promote sexual misconduct if, say for instance, a rapist or pedophile was presented with nude members of the opposite sex. It would also be a major deterrent to international buisness if your countrymen are walking around in the nude while in their country this practice is strictly banned and looked down upon.

Plus, just think of the old people xp

I'm sorry, but who would honestly want to walk around completely nude in public who wasn't critically insanse? That's my question.

I think nudity should be left to nudist camps. Nobody wants to see fat ugly losers with their tackle out. Almost nobody, anyway.

^ what he said.

But there shouldn't be anything against being nude on your own property or at places like a beach, park, etc...meh

Eh, there's nothing wrong with it, at least there shouldn't be, but I suppose too many people would find problems with it (think of the children!!1 D: ) so it's best for it to stay banned

i agree with this statement totally, maybe with time you could walk down oxford street in the buff, but not now. for one thing it would lead to attacks and most definately rapes.

I can honestly say i've never thought about it. It seems logical that it should always be banned, especially with what society condemns and approves of in modern day. As much as a womans body is attractive in its qualities, i'd probably prefer a clothed individual in a restaurant/bar or shop.

And you know...the other problems...waiter, theres a cock in my soup etc...

Its the same concept of why we don't allow sex in public places.

1) Its not sanitary. Nobody wants to accidently touch a bench that some guys bare ass was touching.

2) The children.

3) Security reasons... its generally not safe since you dont know what kind of people are watching.

If everyone else did it, I'd do it

also it would make everything less exciting, less sexy. clothes are sexy because they cover things up etc.. if you saw everyone naked all the time you'd get bored of everyone.

i wouldnt say bored but youre right it would be more common. kind of like a beautiful face... we see them everywhere so they may be nice to look at but we dont stop and stare. if faces were hidden all the time im sure we'd be masturbating to supermodel's eyes in magazines :p

True, I'm sure in places like Sub-Saharan Africa were women with their boobs out is common Men don't find breasts sexually attractive at all. They're simply a part of motherhood over there. It's kind of like the "Forbidden Fruit".

It's indecent. It's usually gross.

Not a good idea at all to have it allowed. It's like 24/7 flashing, think of the children.

It would be a pervert's dream and that's completely... Well, ridiculous. And we're going to let that happen because a few people like walking around naked? No way.

Fit women should be allowed full nudity. In fact, it should be forced on them.

Everybody else needs to dress up in snowsuits.

Well, that kind of reasoning wouldn't hold up... since in some cultures where the people don't have clothes, nudity is the norm and children aren't affected by it since its a normal thing to see. Therefore, 'perverts' wouldnt enjoy looking at someone naked since that isn't the 'forbidden fruit'.

Not to suggest that I condone public nudity... I just have different reasons (see my post above).

This isn't "some cultures" is it? Why bother trying to adjust to something as nearly pointless as public nudity when we are already adjusted to what could be agreed upon as "decency"

I find fully-dressed attractive women offensive.

What happens when you get a woody in public?

The only reason I could see this happening is if the "nudist party" was big enough and demanding enough of it, which doesn't seem the case at all.

Indeed.

We used to be like animals at one point.
