Public nudity

It should not be banned. I mean that's the way we started out...it should be optional

Because decency is something that is practiced and learned. Other cultures have proven that "decency" is in the eye of the beholder.

Nobody is suggesting that we try and change the world so that everyone accepts public nudity. We are merely discussing the reasoning behind why it is banned and why it might be wrong to do unban/ban it.

Nothing would make my day more than seeing a fine naked woman walking down the street :naughty: :thumbs: but i agree definately, nothing would destroy my day and drive me to suicide more than seeing some monstrous 30stone 80year old woman naked. :x
 
In that picture, its wet on the ground, it's probably a bit cold and everyone of them is thinking 'i wish i brought a scarf'. And we all point and laugh in our bobble hats.

I don't see why everyone has evolved to be so "scared" of nudity. I mean... we're all born nude. Some of us die nude! It's just natural. America seems to be the worst for this. I mean, we always hear stories about a mom thats gone crazy and went on a killing spree (not really :P) becuase their son saw a nipple on tv for a split second.

Would it REALLY harm a child to see some boobs or a penis?

I find streakers to be extremely funny. And tbh i would be laughing my ass off all the time if i were the one streaking. Peoples reactions, they're ace :D
 
the fact is we're grown up to believe that nudity is something that isn't decent in public, nor towards children.

however, if from birth a child is exposed to nudity and theres nothing said to be wrong about it, then the child will believe so.
 
Yes it should be banned.

I think I would end up puking every day because of all the ugly people who would walk around nude. And I live in Florida where its really really hot, so pretty much everyone would be naked. God damn it would be SO gross.

In the internet the perverts dont actually have access to people. If everyone was walking around naked then a pervert could actually physically reach out and grab someone. Didnt you guys see the thread about the guy who wanted to have sex with a dead chick who had her picture in the paper. All it was, was a picture in a paper. Now imagine some sick minded person sitting in a seat across from some naked girl... just staring at her every day until he gets enough courage to do what he wants to do with her.

Every perv would be out doing sick shit to innocent people.

I really don't see why clothing has anything to do with it. A pervert could reach out and "grab" someone whether or not they have clothes on. There is really no corrolation. How often do you hear about rape or sexual harassment at a nudist colony rather than on the streets or workplace?

Exactly, i've never heard of rape or harrassment at a nudist colony (doesn't mean it doesn't happen though!)

But if people were exposed to nudity all their life, would there be as many perverts/rapists? Probably, but i'd be there would be less.

If nudity was common you probably wouldnt get a boner just seeing some randomer walking down the street. Or you could just control it and just not think sexual thoughts. :P
