i will never buy anything but basics from a retail store again..unless i see a really good deal like this one ....im gonna wait for the nextgen gfx cards before i buy a new one....9800s are nice....but they are not a whole lot better than a 9700

"After Rebates" is a warning sign. Rebates are getting nastier and nastier these days, basically tricking you into not getting your rebate, and making it nigh impossible to do anything about it. Be careful. Also remember that your rebate doesn't arrive for up to six to eight weeks.

Also make sure this is the card you want: Xtasy isn't one I know well as a 9800Pro manufacturer.

I've noticed that there are some 9800 Pro's being sold with a 325MHz Core instead of 380MHz and are priced a lot cheaper. How can you tell the difference from that advertisement?

Visiontek is pretty good actually. They use to make Nvidia cards, but switched over to ATi ever since Nvidia came out with their 5800 chip.

Crab dont make me saute you and sell ya for 19.99 to some yups.
If you had any clue on quality then you wouldn't had typed that. X=xtasy and yes they are crap. This maybe before your time but xtasy used to make nV cards and nV would make such a mass amount and give them Facked up cards. Why.. Ill Tell ya why. nV was trying to push out much more cards during the gef4(Nv35-40) stage and production at that mass caused many problems. What did xtasy do.. they bought large numbers of cards and fixed them and sold them to BB(bestBuy) and Comp. and made a killing. But once people found what they were doing their sales droped.
So must I recapp on ya or do I need to type like I was in english class 10 years ago.
