Indeed, but what I think is the thing that annoys people, is the fact it's labeled as Rainbow Six, which, even though I've enjoyed the console Rainbow Six, is pretty sad tbh, because they don't feel ANYTHING like Rainbow Six Rogue Spear for example, the best game in the series imo.Warbie said:Take exactly the same video, lable it as a pc exclusive, and the praise would come rolling in
hey, if you generalise all console gamers as dumb, am i free to generalise all pc gamers as hyper-active, ugly kids, failing @ high school who swear too much and play cs all day ?chu said:The R6 franchise is ruined and will not be brought back to its roots. Becuase it looks awesome.
i thought they were going to release it on the last generation but i think the latest thing i heard was it won't be, i'll have to double check though.satch919 said:I think it's coming out on 360, PS3, Xbox, and PS2. Of course the last generation is going to have to be downgraded quite a bit. The next-gen versions use Unreal Engine 3, which is why it looks so amazing.
Lockdown is the only R6 that sucked, so just wait for this onechu said:The R6 franchise is ruined and will not be brought back to its roots. Agreed 100%. Way too many games are taking this crappy regenerating health approach. It was cool in Halo because it was a Sci-fi run and gun game. But now developers are saying "lol that was teh best idea evor!" and putting it in games where it doesn't fit. Call of Duty 2 (WWII shooter), Splinter Cell: Double Agent (modern combat stealth game), and this game (modern combat tactical shooter) should not have regenerating health. It makes the game less tactical, realistic, challenging, and intense knowing that you can hide in a corner and be as good as new in a few seconds.Gargantou said:One thing I don't like.
"Vegas will feature a Call of Duty 2 like health system where the player regenerates health whilst not taking fire, which will result in less dying and a stronger focus on tactical gameplay"
How can it lead to a STRONGER focus on tactical gameplay? Knowing that you have to plan your move to PREVENT DYING and PREVENT getting shot at makes a STRONGER focus on tactical gameplay imo.. Now one can just fire a few bullets into a room full of enemies, run for cover, wait for health to refill, repeat. Lame, imo.. But I'm sure some people here like regenerating health, so to each man his own I guess.. Doesn't make for a MORE tactical game though imo..
