I played the demo of FEAR... You start off in an alleyway somewhere, and then you walk into a room, and then you walk in a room and there's enemies and they go BANG BANG BANG and you go BOOM BOOM BOOM and there's an explosion and parts of the wall fly off and someone thwos a grenade and it's like BULLET TIME WOOOO then you get shot in the head and you're still okay because you have a bible strapped onto your forehead which attracts these little girls who are like "hahaha can't catch me" and you shoo them and you're like "wtf, lag" so you find her again and shoot her ****ing loads and she doesn't die and you're like "lolol glitch? ****ing shit game" and you press ALT + F4 and uninstall the demo and play HL2.

Colin McRae Rally 2005 - Xbox

The best rally racing game, and one of the best games I've ever played.

My Score: 9.6

There is no on-line racing in this version, or I'd give it a 10 no question.

Codemasters is working on Rally 2007 for the 360, PS3, and maybe for the PC. Can't wait to own it.

Codemasters - if you are listening, more cars would be sweet. I like the early 2000 year Opel and Subaru rally cars too. *hint*

Still playing Hitman: Blood Money, and it's still fun as hell

Last game I played was CS Source. It's extremely fun, but also infuriating, and I don't really see how you can grade a multiplayer game, so I give it the illustrious score of twinkie/10.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch - 9/10

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - 8.5/10 (so far)

Just got to Dantooine and headed to the grove to investigate the dark presence and complete my training to become a padawan. So far, pretty cool stuff. Hooked on the combat and the story (and Pazaak :D). Still getting the hang of the skill system and the way stats/saving throws/DC rolls etc work since I'm not all that familiar with D&D, but mostly I are just slicing shit up :)

Things I'm not so fond of... certain parts of the combat, specifically certain parts of the D&D system and real-time combat melding awkwardly... and going on the light side seems to be more effort for less reward =/

Also - Malak is so much cooler than Vader, and rivals Darth Maul for the coolest looking Sith Lord

Hitman: Blood Money

7.5/10

this game is fun. if you enjoyed the previous titles in the series, you'll certainly enjoy this one.
unfortunately, it seems to me like the series is on its last legs. an upgraded graphics engine and supposed AI enhancements (to me, the AI still needs ALOT of work) were not enough for me to be overly impressed.
although hitman allows for a certain degree of freedom when completing a hit, it feels like they could have done so much more, without having so many restrictions
good game. not great.

PS
i thought the notoriety factor was a complete failure

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

Amazing game. First one of the series I have touched, and i'm addicted.

If only there were a single player mission editor. That'd be so COOL!

Starcraft - Diplomacy Gold 7.7
Simple. Fun. Addicting. I proved that my 600 infantry with 30 tanks > 200 mechs\tanks. Power of the flank!!

My god, this sounds like the best game ever (online FPS wise!)
I've seen my little brother play it day in and day out.

Its terrible. Its like Operation Flashpoint minus all the fun.

Hence, its terrible.

Last games i've actually beaten

Hitman: Blood Money 8.7/10
Second best Hitman game. Not as good as the second one but damn fun none the less. Also a little bit too easy.

Kingdom Hearts 9/10
Great little action game. Surprisingly challenging as well, for a Disney game. Has anyone here been able to beat Sephiroth?

Games i'm playing through now

Final Fantasy X 8.7/10
Almost finished, just killed Seymour for the 3rd time, about 32 hours into it. Good game, but the action is incredibly repetitive and just seems like filler at times.

KOTOR 2 9/10
My kind of RPG. Actual side quests and non-linear gameplay as compared to Final Fantasy. Awesome storyline and character development as well.

Call of Duty 2: 8/10. It's a good game, IF you haven't played the original, which is far better.

Is Huxley the only upcoming MMOFPS? I liked Planetside, but the devs decided to balance the game by making everything pathetically weak, and it got frustrating. WWIIOnline is incredibly overcomplex. I quit the trial after I realized I couldn't figure out how to even start a truck, yet I can drive quite well in real life. Huxley looks pretty good, and of course if I read one article right, PC players can play with *coffcoffRAPEFESTcoff* consolers. I will pay MONEY to read those kiddies whining on their forums when the PC players beat the shit out of them.

CT has without doubt imo the worst game ending ever, it totally blows, i was like ''thats it?'' ffs, boring series.

Silent Hill- rating:10/10 thrill rating:100%

Oh yes, it's Silent Hill, the other survival horror game that parred with it's counterpart Resident Evil (Ahhh, who am I kidding, both of them rocks) and yes, Silent Hill is the most exciting, thrilling and horrific game I ever played. With cool graphics and gory..

Operation Flashpoint 9/10

Amazing scale, realism, and gameplay. But loses a point due to annoyances for example when you finish a mission it doesn't trigger for like 3 minutes to debrief you and also because of graphics.

I think we understand that you like the Horror/ Survival type games. FFS quit posting them.

Afraid of Monsters(HL1 Mod) - Jesus...
I don't think a user-made modification has ever managed to scare the shit out of me this much.
Twitching(ala:The Ring/Japanese Horror). Zombies... and that noise they make...
Eeee...
I give it a 9.4/10... I commend it for successfully scaring me to hell.

Tomb Raider: Legend. Man, it's really fun. I'm only on the 3rd level. But it's cool. One thing that sometimes annoys me is that the coolest moments happen in cut-scenes...I mean, loads of times I think "this is all very nice, but they could have made this bit playable and it would have been absolutely awesome."

Chill. The guy likes survival horror, nowt wrong with that.

I read there's a remake of the original Silent Hill coming out - I think on the PS2 and PSP. There's also a remake of the original Tomb Raider coming out.

Considering that he has posted Resident Evil in every thread that has to do with "favorite games". I think everyone gets the ****ing point.

But since your the all powerful moderator and I am supposed to cower in fear of your words, get to posting Double_Blade

Starcraft. 19/10

Wait I posted this already.....

Uhhhh....

Battlefield 2: 7.8/10

Awesome game, but hard to get to new ranks, not everyone uses teamwork, damn artillery killing me every few seconds, some lag. Vehicles are the mother****ing pwn.

Call of Duty 2 - 6/10

Epic action on a grand scale. But its too...too much happening all at once. Yes thats what war is all about, but you NEVER have time to absorb anything. Its constant constant battle after battle after battle.
Theres no sneaking around like in the original. Its all 'who can run out of the ammo fastest' and 'no health bars'...and the fact you can literally charge an MG position and NOT get killed is just wrong. Its fun, but still wrong.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - 9/10

Massive fun in a big wide world. Follow the storyline, hijack an ambulence, shoot the cops and their choppers, sit in your car and listen to the (admittedly worse than Vice City) radio, race around at high speeds, take over gang territories, parachute from thousands of feet up, jetpack around every city ever ever, run through a rioting city, and more. Admittedly there are a couple of camera problems, some audio problems when there's ingame rain, and gangbanging isn't for everybody, but GTA:SA Is still a brilliant fun game. Vice City still beats it though :D

Alone in the Dark 10/10 thrill rating-100%

Ghostly survival horror game it is, great graphics, great gameplay and most of all, a very thrilling game. Make sure you turn on the lights, heh.

I was in a scary game mood last night so I went out and bought

Clive Barker's Undying - 8/10... Damn near shit myself just from the first level.

And rented...

Fatal Frame - 9/10... Haunted houses are teh scary D:

Silent Hill 4 - 7/10... Meh, it was okay... not nearly as scary as the others.
But it did have its moments.

HL2 Ep1 9/10

Pros:
-Blue vortigaunts ftw :)
-Fine tuned gameplay

Cons:
-Wait till december for Ep 2
-Very little Gman speech :frown:

Surely that's a con of episode 2 not 1.

To be honest I'd give aftermath 9.5/10. The only thing that I didn't like was that a few puzzles got a little repetative, but was cool.
Awesome game, if alex had died in ep1 I would have cried :(

subtracting all of the crashes, I would give ep1 9/10. It was really good.

Ok, I went into EB the other day for that Battleground Europe. One stamp on it said 30 bucks AUS, another said 80 and the last said 15. I got annoyed, bought Metroid Prime 2 and am now quite satisfied (more story it seems...even though I'm only up to the Federation Ship discovery).
