Ok, I went into EB the other day for that Battleground Europe. One stamp on it said 30 bucks AUS, another said 80 and the last said 15. I got annoyed, bought Metroid Prime 2 and am now quite satisfied (more story it seems...even though I'm only up to the Federation Ship discovery).

Here in the states, its the lowest value that you are charged for... except in the case of someone illegally tampering with the sticker.

What you saw was likely them just not removing the old stickers as they tagged on the new, since they have alot of inventory to do it to.

Unless you're already aware of that and were just annoyed because it got so cheap. :cheese:

The Sims 2:
Only played it briefly so can't give it a rating but I have to say that I am impressed...I was skeptical for a long time but it was bought for my sis (I wasn't going to spend my money on it :) )

But they certainly developed it...Combining the effects of some of the expansion packs that were released for the first one and then adding to the game with features such as aging, family trees, deeper gameplay and mini-challenges/failures with rewards that add to the game.

I am impressed and I think that the extra developments will make it harder to put away than the first one (Only so many times you can get up, go to work, come home, build skills, friends, bed, repeat...)

SWAT 4 - 8/10...
Beat both SP portions of the games within a week... nothing special.

The multiplayer and custom mission editors are what kept me playing though.

Tie Fighter - 9/10
I am so incredibly addicted. I played X-Wing so much as a kid and this is just wtfpwnage :D

Dead Rising: 10/10. Awesome gameplay and variety.

Halo-singleplayer 8/10 multiplayer hhhmm 9/10
Republic Commando-9/10

Started playing Deus Ex 2 again. 8.5/10

Not as good as the original, but still entertaining and thought provoking.

Prey 6/10

The portals and spirit walking starts feeling gimmicky near the end, but the story is alright and the game gets pretty hard near the end :x (damn mechano-spider-things)

F.E.A.R. - 9.4/10

Just finished the ending chapters yesterday. Loved it.

half life2 EP 1 [7.5/10]: nothing new

Prey [7.0/10]: fun at first but gets really annyoing

Ys -the Oath in Felghana- [9.5/10]: omfg the best action RPG yet. AWESOME MUSIC TOO OMG GO PLAY THIS (even though it's in japanese...)

Episode one- 8.5/10, fun and I haven't played it to death yet.
Morrowind- 9/10, better than any japanese shit.
Diablo 2- 9/10, best game ever, getting a little tired of it though. Wish I could get the expansion.

Operation Flashpoint. 9/10

This game is absolutely amazing.

I've been playing it multiplayer recently alot on a great multiplayer server, which is nothing but cooperative maps. AMAZING fun.

Vegeta has been playing too.

But not tonight D:

Rogue Trooper 7/10
Very Polished, nice chars, but to short.

Resident Evil 0 - 9/10 - I finally got around to finishing it and the fun of zombie killing hasn't worn off :)

I was a bit disappointed in the voice acting at parts (it is RE after all, but the conversation between Birkin and Wesker was laughably bad, as well as Enrico) but I thought Rebecca and Billy were done as well as the dialogue permitted them to. The CGI sequences also pissed me off at points, why couldn't they have kept normal conversations in-game like they did in the RE Remake? Still, the graphics were just awesome, even if they were pre-rendered...and those leech monsters were suitably terrifying (nothing a molotov cocktail won't fix).

Darwinia. I just got to the amazingly fun Biosphere level. What a cool game.

I just wish it didn't crash to desktop when the action gets too out of control :(

A high 8/10

corrected.

Hitman: Blood Money - 9.4/10.. Awesome game, I love hitman games, you can go stealth, or guns blazing, either way is really fun, the ending in this is so good, it's simple, but amazingly good. Good graphics, good gameplay, good everything.

System Shock 2 - 9.8/10.. I started playing this game a few days ago, and my god it is so awesome, the graphics aren't pretty, but it was made in 1999, and you can get mods for the graphics. Amazing gameplay, really scary, even after 7 years, that is a good quality to have. Probably my favorite RPG, now. It's better than Deus Ex 1.

Battlefront 2 (PSP) - 7.9/10.. pretty much the same as the consoles, just with compensating PSP graphics, good game, havn't tried WiFi yet, even without WiFi it's still good.

Black & White 2 - 8.6/10.. Well rounded game, Rome: Total War style battles, creature is really fun, lots of interactivity, nice graphics, it's optimized well too, It runs graphics 100% on my old system, with the latest patch you can finally skip the stupid tutorial missions, that puts it's mark up a little.

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis - 8.7/10.. Really fun, very realistic, it was made in 2003, so the graphics aren't the best, but when you play it you'll forget all about the graphics with the gameplay, you can interact with just about anything, my only gripe with the game is that sometimes it TOO realistic, the missions are long because you have to evade the enemy and that forces you to walk around them, which takes a long time, it takes you like 10 seconds just to lay down (which is alot when the action heats up..), sometimes it frustrated me when I couldn't find the enemy in the trees, but they could find me easily. The mission editor is really simple to use, they've used it for the main story, and like I said, it's easy to use.

Deus Ex - 9/10

Been playing through again. Awesome game, needs a proper sequel!!

it was made in 2001

Fixed.

Currently playing Ninja Gaiden Black, loving it. And currently replaying Final Fantasy X, loving that as well but i hate not being able to skip the ****ing cutscenes.

Condemned: 8.5/10
Surprisingly had alot more fun with this then everyone suggested i might. Didn't find the action repetitive towards the end at all because i was constantly looking for good weapons and saving what ammo i had. But i do agree with those who have said the crime scene stuff is the best parts of the game. Indeed.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: 9/10
Awesome awesome lawyer game on the DS. Incredibly over-the-top with some ridiculous twists, not all make sense, but that doesnt make the game any less fun. Also its about 25 hours long as well, which is awesome.

I need reason to continue, because I got up to the High Road Inn and was just bored out of my god damn wits. Not to mention the annoying voice acting and bad one liners during battle...

it gets alot more challenging towards the end of the game and alot more fun when you're able to unlock the airship. That way you can travel anywhere you like.

Micro Machines [on Sega Mega Drive] - 9/10; soo fun and nothing beats pushing your friend off a table to his doom. :)

It's my gf's Megadrive, I'm trying to convince her to give [or sell] it to me but she won't budge.. and she has freaking Jungle Storm !

Company of Heroes MP beta

Haven't even played the SP portion yet, but it's already a solid 9/10 in my book.

HOLY... ****ING... SHIT.

Micro Machines! That was the FIRST game I have ever stolen. I found a backpack at school. I was in second grade. It was empty except for a NES game with micro machines in it. It had a name written on it of somebody I didn't know(I didn't know anybody at that school). So the first thing I did? I picked up the backpack, and ran off with it and the game. I found a marker and scribbled out the name in a giant block of black.

How evil am I? I feel bad after it all these years... taking a kids game from a backpack that was stranded out front of the school doing nothing. Could of been a bomb... I saved everybodies life

But yeah, that game was so amazingly fun. And jungle storm!

Desert Strike! that chopper game was just badass. Ahh the memories.

Yaay, I remember doing a multiplayer all-nighter on that game when I was like 9 years old or something :)

We were hammering some Micro Machines, Sonic, and for some reason Chuck Rock...

F*ck yeah. Still remember having a friend over and hiring Res-Evil 2 and Micro Machines for PS1. Resi was too scary back then so we just played MMs all night, good fun :D
