eagle eye 5/10

Generic action thriller with shia lebeouf (who I can't stand personally). There was just way too many moments in it that seemed illogical, stupid or physically impossible :|

Vantage Point - 8/10

Really enjoyed this, loved the whole set up of the film and how it all came together. Ending was humorous.

Was it supposed to humorous? Never saw it, but it looked interesting.

Other movies have done the same thing, but better.

That's some great criteria for judging a thriller:rolleyes:

Well it can annoy me in thrillers and in this case it really annoyed me (it also didn't help the ending was anticlimactic). I can let it slide in action movies but not so much thrillers.

Oh gee, what a controversial stance!

Wouldn't be the first time :p

I knew that ;) (but hey you can never be too certain on the internets)

The Incredible Hulk 8/10

Edward Norton did a great job, and Ms. Tyler wasn't horrid..though her whispering always gets on my nerves.

Star Trek - 9/10

most fun i've had at the cinema in quite a while

Star Trek - 9.5/10

After watching the previous Star Trek films I have to say that the new one is almost my favorite one. It felt a lot different but it had the right touch and definitely felt like Star Trek from start to finish. A bit more cinematic but just as comical as the rest, I can't wait to see this again at the IMAX next week.

The Usual Suspects: 7/10

Dunno, it was okay. Ending was cool.

8/10? Dude, that film was one of the worst I've seen all year. It's like a 3/10.

I concur.
Total borefest, but then again... I hate anything relating to The Incredible Hulk.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - 5/10...
Eh, the action was fun.
Everything else was pretty shit, how the **** is this about Wolverine's origins when they only really talk about his past for like 10 minutes?

Grosse Point Blank - 8/10

Sure, I'm totally gay for John Cusack, but this film is awesome. A plethora of 80's wonder-music, a very attractive Miss Minnie Driver, the glorious Dan Akroyd, and a very sharp, well-written tale a good black comedy do make.

Oh yeah, OpinionlessLife2.net

I think I signed up to the wrong place. :p

Bedtime Stories - 8.5/10

amazingly funny movie for both Disney and for it being PG. could not stop laughing and it was very well done.

HULK - 8/10
Just to irritate Samon :p

Valkyrie - 8/10
Nicely done film, American and English accents didn't really detract from the story as I thought it would.

Grosse Pointe Blank - 9/10 - This movie is ****ing amazing. Dan Akroyd as a villain and John Cusack as a hitman? Plus great soundtrack, lots of humour, and touching scenes. Absolutely excellent. This movie is so perfect it's nearly 10/10.

Sold, going to add that to my list of movies to rent this weekend.

Donnie Darko - 8/10...
Mesmerizing.

Cusack and co did a great job with the script (same with High Fidelity), he should really write more screenplays, although I didn't hear many too good things about his last script, War Inc. **** it, I'm in the mood to watch Grosse Point Blank now.

Being John Malkovich - What the **** kind of shitty and miserable ****ing movie did I just ****ing watch.

^ watched 5 mins and turned it off, it was just too weird

Leaving Las Vegas 8/10

Scent of a woman 7/10

I watched 30 minutes and turned it off. Strangest movie I've ever seen probably o_O

28 weeks later 8/10 - great zombie fun (before anyone argues i don't care they're zombies in my eyes)

To think that the guy who directed that mess is doing the Where The Wild Things Are adaptation. D:

We would have to be to actually enjoy the movie, wouldn't we?

No, I think we're all quite sane.

Soleil Rouge - 7.5/10...
Fun little culture clash of an American Cowboy and a Samurai.

I quite liked it. Probably the strangest movie I've watched though.

Being John Malkovich was... different. I thoroughly enjoyed the film during the first watch. The second watch was utterly painful; and I now have no drive to see that movie ever again.
