Good comp, try OCing that intel 3.0, some of em hit 3.5ghz on stock cooling and 3.7 with high end heatsinks.

I know this sounds odd, but intel doesn't really need cas 2.5. I bet you if you set it to 3-4-4-8 you would get much better gaming results. Try it out

Your CPU is really holding that 9800 pro back. 768mb ram is good, but 1G is prefered these days. If you want a quick ( but cheap ) upgrade, get this

Yeah. If I had that kind of money right now, I'd do it. But I have already paid for a new video card and I a getting that Corsair RAM. That is enough for me as of now. I'll have to wait until I get some big bucks before I lay down some more money on my PC.

VERY cost effective CPU, I like it. I would have given you 10/10 if you had a 2500+ mobile w/ NF7, but that's pretty good.

When you say P4C~3000, mhz I'm assuming it's a 2.4C overclocked to that.

I didn't go with the E for a few reasons:

1. It wasn't out when I bought that 3.0C (It wasn't even heard of)
2. Even if I were going to buy a new CPU now, I would still buy the C. They've proven to be better OC'ers, at lower temps. The extra 512 cache doesn't seem to do a damn thing.

As for the Audigy 2 ZS, no, it's not the Gamer. It's the 70 dollar OEM off of newegg. :cheers:

Hate to say, but you really don't rate PC's that well. Been quite a few PCs that you say just are not 'good enough' because they don't have those buzz words like FX or P4 'E' 1MB L2cache!
