What I did wrong. Well, I used to make her feel stupid by calling her a dumbass or an idiot whenever she did something wrong, and every time she tried to talk to me about a problem I would turn it into a big fight. And she got fed up. But now I realized how stupid I was, and I want to right my wrong.

Man I'm not pretending. I love her and I definately don't want to lose her over my stupid faults. I'd rather her leave me for someone else than it be my fault. I can't let that happen, and I don't want her to hurt anymore.

I know I don't post here and i'm probably an unkown but Guinny, the first thing I need to say is that i'm glad to see you're taking this thing in a serious manner, as you should be.
I remember seeing a lot of your posts and you seemed kinda weird, heh.

Anyways I read the first page and a few other posts of yours and got the gyst of what's happening.
If you've hurt her then let time run it's course for the most part. If she truly loves you then she should, and will give you a second chance.

The first step towards correcting your mistake you've already taken it seems. You've realized what you have done wrong and you are willing to change and are putting effort towards that. For that, good job, you've done what many people can't already.
As far as the next step goes, I would just let time run for a bit. If you see her in some places just smile and say hi and things like that. Let her know that she still has your attention and that you still care about her and want her to be well.
Hopefully she will realize that you are trying to make a change and will give you the chance it seems you deserve.

Hope that helps some. You're a good guy by the sounds of it, Guinny. I'm sure most people on these boards are, but good guys are a rarity these days it seems. I try to be as kind as I can as well, it's hard sometimes, but the effort put in is worth it for the outcome.

What you should really do man, if it was you who did wrong, is to prove to her that you have changed. Say you want to get back together, say that you would like to show her that you have changed. Go out, do stuff together. Show her that u dont do any of those things anymore.

Then see if she really wants you back. She will let you know, one way or the other.

Edit: Thanks Guinny, I try to be as helpful as I can. My parents are divorced so i've basically put a lot of thought into how to work out a relationship, even though I haven't really ever had any.

Heh, I see. See the thing is, noone on this board has probably met a girl like mine. She would never cheat on me, simply because I know everyone in and around town, and she knows it'd be stupid to. Secondly, she's not even thinking about cheating on me, she came back to me, and she's the kind of girl who's always straight up with their feelings and doesn't beat around the bush, it's not easy to change her mind about something, so if this is what she says she wants she does. But hey man, I could be wrong, we'll see what happens, maybe in a few months I'll be bringing this thread back from the dead. :cheers:

Regardless of what Animal said, I am not trying to cut you down, Im just advising. I thought my girl was different too, all innocent and truthful and stuff, so I gave her a second chance and then I got my heart ripped out. As I said, congrats, just watch out for yourself.
