I can't recall a time when there were so many games I'm interested in, especially for the PC, and especially considering that less than a handful are FPS games. This looks to be an especially good year for adventure games.

UBI hired diffrent dev(GRIN, who mostly makes software for military), to make sure that GRAW for PC completely diffrent from console versions. It' ll be harder, more realistic and tactical, not to mention having fully functional tactical map.

It's been known since the game was pretty much originally announced!

But yeah, it's great to know that, because I vastly prefered GR1 over 2.
I even have a full version of GR1+all expansions on the PC.

4. Quite a few of those games are 100% sure not to be released in 2006. Crysis and Project Offset spring to mind. They may be slated for a 2006 release, but there is no way in hell they are going to make it unless they seriously compromise the quality of their product in the process.

Huh? Crytech has probably been working on Crysis since Far Cry was released, if not longer than that.

Huh? Crytech has probably been working on Crysis since Far Cry was released, if not longer than that.

Weeeeell, don't get your hopes up gentlemen. "Will be a launch-title for Windows Vista" and "should be slated for a q4 2006 release" are both highly optimistic estimates by people with no reason to be objective.

As an objective gamer that would _love_ to have Crysis right now but has a basic understanding of how the world works I have to say that Crysis is looking at q2 2007 and that's us gamers being lucky.

Offcourse, I could be wrong and Crytek could be game-pushing gods, but somehow I doubt it. Naturally, another option is that a bunch of features are cut to prematurely launch the game as something lesser than it was meant to be.

I certainly hope they spend the time to make it right.
