Red Alert 3 promotion trailer with Hellmarch (about time...)

I've revised my opinion. This looks ****ing ridiculous.
 
yeah i am thinking that a little myself now, although so was RA2. I can still see this getting well received but not as well as cnc 3 though.
 
RA2 was Westwood Ridiculous. This is looking EA ridiculous.

No because it wasn't the Einstein the RA timeline that removed Hitler in the first place. It was an Einstein from a different timeline (And the only purpose that timeline serves is to have that timeline's Einstein go back in time to remove Hitler).

Good point. Better question: How did the Soviets get their hands on this technology? Something I read definitely said that it was a Soviet time-machine.

Yeah it looks fine to me. The only thing I have a big problem with is the Japanese/Asian/whatever faction with those stupid robots WTF? Why did they feel the need to add a third faction, wasn't the Russians and Allies enough?

Wel actually since in our real timeline Einstein never made any time machine :P . The first timeline is almost identical to ours but stil not our time.

Look guys , EA f**ked up again , just dont buy thier stuff because they are trying to milk it like everything else they own. This is what they do , first they screw up a plot line , then they add another faction so it makes 3 , all factions in EVERY one of thier games are the same , just the skins / models are changed. They are playing us all for chumps and screwing over our favorite franchises. /rant

Isn't it if the Soviets defeat the Allies the CNC Tiberian universe is created, with that Kane ending and all. and the Allies ending creates the RA2 universe. as The president says he put the Soviet leader into power.

The Yuri Reg timeline just created a paradox i believe, a timeline on its own.
 
So wheres the timeline where the CnC universe is still cool? Oh , im sorry , that got obliterated by the comet made of pure evil sent by EA.

The Tiberian universe is impossible if the Soviets win, as the UN sided with the allies during TGWWII and GDI are (or rather were) the UN's armed forces. Also, the TD campaign takes place in a capitalist Europe dominated by GDI presence, impossible if the Soviets won TGWWII and took control of all of Europe.

Also, the Soviet ending is (IMO) what happens if Kane's plan goes right fist time. Nod assumes control, but stays in the shadows. And seriously, if Nod had all the resources of the Soviet empire under their belts as well as the greater share of the worlds Tiberium reserves do you really think they'd still be fighting insurgency campaigns and scrabbling around for the components to build a nuke?

Fixed.

I still hope Tiberium makes a (tiny) cameo in RA3. Though it's possible the Scrin were 'scared off' by Yuri's psychic dominators etc. in the post-RA2 timeline.

The first Soviet Mission and the first Allied mission both have you going back in time to the start of the war to prevent Yuri from building his psychic dominator network.

How exactly does Yuri cause the timelines to split from the tiberium to red alert universes?
 
Because he's instrumental in starting the GWW3 (RA2) and the timeline diverge sometime before it begins.
 
Nice to see all other splits are put down to time travel but that one is due to a psychic who only exists in one timeline for god knows what reason O_o
 
Actually not all other splits are due to time travel, several are due to different factions winning in the game.
 
Oh okay you're the expert i've only tried some of the older cnc games. The only one i've played to great lengths really was tiberium wars and kane's wrath.
 
No, not fail, it was an attempt to reconcile the abomination Red Alert 2 was with the main C&C storyline.

That thread provides a great deal of insight, too.
